McCoy looked a step slow to me yesterday. He was getting caught on plays he usually doesn't. I don't know if he's got something else nagging him but I wouldn't be surprised.

I hear you, just saying it also happened to A. Brown who missed 2 drives I believe.

But its mainly the O-Line. They get Johnson back this week so that will certainly help. I'd rather them be awful, but they seem to keep winning games which sucks in real life and also in fantasy since I get no McCoy benefit.

if Andrew Luck and Jimmy Graham hadn't carried me to three wins on their own. I thought my season was over when I accidentally took Stephen Jackson with the 6th pick because I had my sound down and wasn't alerted to my turn in the draft (d'oh!), and it probably is over once Luck isn't facing WNBA teams. I mean, look at this shit:

QB: Luck
WR: VJax, Wheaton, Desean Jackson (yeah you heard me!), Harry Douglas, Mohamed Sanu, Beckham
RB: Morris, Steven Jackson, McFadden
TE: Graham
K: Crosby
D: whomever

How can that team compete, you ask? In our league, QB's put up the most points by far because of 6 points per TD, and Graham at TE is routinely scoring more than all but the best RB's. I'm just hoping one of my bottom 4 receivers becomes a hot trading commodity at some point this year so I can get one more good RB.

I have Graham and Donnell, I hate wasting one of them on the bench when I could probably have a better player to contribute more often.

Luckily I have Murray, which makes McCoy's past 2 weeks not as damaging to me. I also have ellington and bradshaw as reserves behind them at rb.

Andre Johnson is a shell of his former self. And dont give me "QB play" - he's never had good QB play, Fitzpatrick can actually air it out a bit and its not impacting DeAndre Hopkins. There's just nothing elusive about AJ anymore. He's not an automatic start for me anymore, and he was my 5th round pick so this freakin' hurts.

Eric Decker - would appreciate a little more honesty from you about your ailments. I started Kerley yesterday and benched you because you were "limited". Fuck yourself.

Montee Ball - cant blame him so much as his o-line and lousy playcalling to date. Hopefully they reevaluated things during the bye week... schedule remains brutal as far as run defense all year though.

I will say that our league has 14 teams, each of which choose 3 keepers, so potentially the top 42 (!) players are off the board before the draft even begins. And we don't do the snake draft, so when you've got the 11th pick like me, you pick 11th every freaking round.

If my league wasn't full of idiots who do things like spend $45 of their $100 FA waiver on that RB from Baltimore after one week, I'd be getting creamed. Instead, I finish near the top every year and wind up with a shitty draft the next.

Andre Johnson is killing me, too. It's not that he doesn't get catches he just does not score TD's. If he'd just get into the endzone a few times, he'd put up enough points. I need a WR1 so bad.

He really hasn't since he was in his prime.. and even then he never put up big TD numbers. It's hard to believe that a guy with five 100+ catch years, two 1,500+ yard years and seven 1,000+ years has never had season with double digit TD's. In fact, he only even hit 9 one time.

cashed in after Peyton, can't blame him 1 bit. But he's a borderline #2 WR who's more like a #4 WR in that horrific Jets offense.

Monte Ball...can't say i'm surprised. So obvious how much Peyton misses Moreno.

For years I've been accused of being a homer drafting and playing Giants. This year I've lost two games in one league because I didn't go with my gut and play Giants players. I benched Eli this last week and the Giants Defense which gave me a loss. My gut said we'd win, but I didn't expect good fantasy days. The fan in me wanted to play both...we saw what happened.

Conversely, it seems a lot of players on my team have played the Giants this year. Each time my instinct told me not to play them becaue I thought the Giants would stop them and each time I listened to the "Experts" advice, played the players and lost.

This has been a very frustrating FF season.

In Week 1, I lost by 4 points because my opponent had Stafford and Megatron. Had the Giants played *ANY* defense that night, I would've won. Rubbed salt in the wound for sure.

averaging the 4th highest amount of points in the league yet i sit at 1-3..

3 out of the 4 weeks the team i have played has scored over 140 points...just getting crazy now...the guy i played this week scored 85 last week this scores 143 and still has edelman tonight...last week i scored 144 points and still lost..

but i guess thats life of fantasy

in my 10 team league dominating 3-0 going into tonight with a 21 point lead and they have vereen...i am averaging 140 points per game..

Jets offense isn't quite that bad and even if it was, that provides opportunities for garbage time points. Decker's issue this year is his hamstrings. He was on his way to a big game in Green Bay before he got hurt, he had a decent opening day (6 catches, 77 yards i think) and got in the end zone again yesterday. He's a rock solid WR3 when healthy.

I have 2 good QBs in Matt Ryan/Rivers, have a nice rotation of WRs in Dez/Keenan/Roddy White/E Sanders, a legit RB1 in LeVeon Bell, and finally found a TE (hopefully) in Larry Donnell.

I'm still pretty iffy about Shane Vereen as my RB2 thus far. Hopefully he performs tonight.

Odell Beckham got dropped in my league. I won't put in a waiver, but I'll pick him up as a FA if available.

I have Julius Thomas and just scooped Donnell on waivers a few days ago... I'm thinking maybe I should dangle Thomas in a trade for a WR1. I'd love to move Brees instead and just roll with Rivers and do something like scoop Eli as a backup but I feel like no one is going to give up a good WR for Brees right now. Which is crazy to say, but..

16, yeah.. I actually may use Donnell in my flex. I am good at RB as long as Moreno is out because I have Miller doing plenty in his place and then I have Forte on top of that. Plus Tate, who is coming back this week. I need WR help so bad, though. My only legit WR is Sanders. I'd use Andre as a WR3 but I need a WR1 in the worst way so I have to try and make a move now before I fall totally out of it.. I'm 1-3 now and can't keep losing.

The guy is still 3rd in the league in passing yards, and tied for 10th in TDs (7 Tds / 3 ints) despite playing 3 road games already. Saints offense seems to always have been better in their Dome.

What concerned me going into the year about Brees though was that he lost both Sproles and Moore in the offseason. The #1 WR is basically a rookie and Colston has lost a lot of explosiveness.

Still, I expect him to get it going now that the home schedule is coming up.

Not that anyone really cares, but I'm in a multi-QB league so... EJ Manuel benched. Personally didnt think he was playing all that poorly but they like Kyle Orten. Probably good news for Sammy Watkins and CJ Spiller.

I am pumped about Orton starting. I have to start watkins now. Manuel was pathetic. Now of course Orton can be just as bad but buffalo isn't half bad.... so I like this move.

Murray is pretty much one of the most important players on my team, but if I can get Marshall, I'd be able to go Marshall + D. Thomas, with Bush and Spiller in RB/Flex.

We don't have a flex and go with 3 WRs.

My WR3 is an absolute mess, and really my WRs in general. Which 3 would you start out of this group, or does anyone have any waiver wire pickups they think might come alive?

Which 3 do you start? I think Hurns might actually be viable with Bortles starting. I picked up Shorts simply because he's their first option, so I figured the volume could be useful in PPR. Hartline is the same as every year - 9 points and a cloud of dust.

I made a huge error by picking Patterson over Garcon. I also made a huge error getting cute in my draft, and taking Cam in the late rounds. I was banking on someone getting hurt or desperate for a QB and being able to flip him down the road. Looks like a terrible decision now. I could have easily taken Steve Smith in that spot (who I had a gut feeling would produce this year). Smith actually didn't go till one of the last couple rounds.

That Cam pick and Patterson over Garcon might cost me the championship, even though I'm currently 3-1/

I said a few days ago "am I crazy for considering starting Rivers vs JAX and benching Brees vs DAL?" and kinda got talked out of it.

If I can't spin Brees for a WR1, I think that's gonna be my strategy from here on out. Only use Brees when he's at home and use Rivers the other weeks.

Thoughts are that the Bears are re-evaluating Marshall's ankle this week which means its worse than initially feared. Very good chance Marshall misses this weekend's game. I wouldnt touch that trade offer with a 10 foot pole.

It's definitely not 75% luck. I know you're frustrated, but it's all about what you value and not listening to the talking heads.

I didn't trust Lacy AT ALL to draft him as high as some fantasy football pundits. It's also about knowing teams and players -- the Packers throw the ball all over the field, another reason I wasn't as high on Lacy.

Good fantasy players usually have one great value pick that usually pushes them over the top, or a key waiver wire pickup.

Last year J. Thomas was the under-the-radar pick that won people some leagues. I think Donnell has that potential this year.

Wow, wasn't aware of this. This could be huge for me in my PPR league, as it should increase Alshon's targets a ton.

I would try and move Bennett. Bennett is going to regress to the mean, although Marshall being hurt could keep his numbers high.

Graham is one of the best pass catchers in the league, and you know the Saints will not stop throwing the ball, no matter how bad their season goes.

I'd see what you can get for Bennett.

For Graham, you'd need to get back a WR1 or RB1. He is one of the best players in fantasy.

I am in the same boat right now. I have Rivers and Brees and I need a RB but all the guys with the RB's have pretty good QB's already.

I also know that the minute I trade Brees he's going to go off.

Rivers was terrific yesterday but listening to you, you'd think Brees was some kind of disaster last night. 340 yards, 2 TDs, 1 INT. Not exactly his fault the team around him sucks and can't hold onto a football in Dallas territory.

He probably will since he's only played 1 home game so far. I realize I would be selling him at a low point but I keep watching Rivers rack up more points than him on my bench and I think Rivers is for real this year and can be a top 5 fantasy QB. As long as Rivers keeps producing, I won't mind if Brees gets hot.

LOL.. I didn't say he was a "disaster".. but the ~10 pt difference between he and Rivers was the difference between me winning and losing the week.

Like I said, I desperately need WR help. Brees is going to put up numbers all year but if Rivers is too, I don't need to keep both because I can't play them both.

He's always been good. He had 1.5 down years and everyone wrote him off. He's an excellent QB.

carried him his through his 20s in the league.

But now (ie this year and last) I think he's playing the best football of his career.

So as you say, maybe he's always been 'excellent' but i think the current excellence is more about him ... than about his weapons, which makes it more impressive.

I am still rostering him in the league I've got him but it's really killing my flexibility because it's a league with just 6 bench spots and I'm already holding Josh Gordon with another one of them.

I don't think AP is ever going to play this year but I am petrified of dropping him and then having him randomly get cleared.

same deal, I had Gordon too.

Plus with Ben Tate, Russel Wilson, Terance West, Michael Floyd, and one other on bye I couldn't field a team.

I'm not second guessing myself no matter what happens.

I dropped AP and traded Gordon and West, so no more wasted spots on my team. I was 1 - 2, probably win this week and if i didn't make that trade and drop AP, I'd probably 1 - 3 and stahing Gordon would be irrelevant.

I mean Gordon comes back in what, week 12, and likely has Johnny Manziel throwing to him. He didn't exactly look to be in the greatest shape in preseason. I dunno - I just have a hard time believing he'll make a huge difference down the stretch.

You do know Gordon is allowed to be at the facility and train with the team trainers right? Its not like he is ntraining at home by himself

And trust Big Ben the rest of the way?


Only complication with Gordon is it's gonna be Manziel by the time he gets back, gotta keep him though, much better to take a goose egg now and have Gordon for the playoffs...

A guy who has Brady will be 3-1 after tonight. I will be 3-1 or 4-0. I have Ryan and Rivers. I need a WR. I previously said I wouldnt trade either one of my QBs..... but...

Would you trade Rivers or Ryan for Randal Cobb. My WRs are Brown, Patterson, Watkins, Royal, and Gordon.
