LaMichael James

Picked up by the Dolphins. Thought he might have been a good fit for us. Third down back and return guy would have been nice.
he was pretty
MookGiants : 9/30/2014 10:38 pm : link
awful at everything with the 49ers.
I disagree
Marty866b : 9/30/2014 10:43 pm : link
In limited appearances he averaged 4.5 yards per carry and over 10 yards per punt return. He was worth a look.
Hey Marty

I'm coming down in about three weeks. Can't wait.
I suggested it
SHO'NUFF : 10/1/2014 12:21 am : link
numerous times.
He was signed to their practice squad so like Quarles with NE, if we
Anakim : 10/1/2014 12:26 am : link
want him, he's there for the taking.
I didn't see anywhere about practice squad
SHO'NUFF : 10/1/2014 12:30 am : link
is he even eligible for the PS?
And who would you have cut?
redthumper32 : 10/1/2014 12:32 am : link
.
Probably Hillis.
SHO'NUFF : 10/1/2014 12:57 am : link
I just don't see the value...too slow.

LaMichael James - RB - Dolphins
Dolphins signed RB LaMichael James to the practice squad.
James offers depth as a change-of-pace option, but a promotion is unlikely to be in line any time soon with Knowshon Moreno (elbow) nearing a return.

that's weird
SHO'NUFF : 10/1/2014 1:06 am : link
none of the sports sites (NFL, CBS Sports) mentioned practice squad...
I'd imagine
NINEster : 10/1/2014 2:19 am : link
he'd end up in Philly reunited with Kelly or New Orleans at some point.

Oh hell no, and I wanted to sign James but not over Hillis.
Hillis has played pretty good on ST
aquidneck : 10/1/2014 5:16 am : link
I think. Not against bringing in a little fast guy but do it at the expense of one of the 10 OL currently on the team.

We only play 5 at a time and activate 7 on Sundays anyway.

Good chance one of the 10 OLs go for Holsey.
No way on Hillis
Fish : 10/1/2014 8:25 am : link
I know it was garbage minutes but Hillis ran hard and was looking to knock someones head off.
As much as the 49ers want to run the ball
Ten Ton Hammer : 10/1/2014 8:27 am : link
they cut him. And he's been out of work for weeks since.

Hillis
stretch234 : 10/1/2014 8:39 am : link
He is slow, but he can catch, he runs hard and he can pick up a blitz and he is playing specials

Hill is has been great for the ST's..so he is of value imho
Hillis can also be used
mrvax : 10/1/2014 9:49 am : link
as a fullback if needed.
Hillis has done everything the Giants have asked of him
Paulie Walnuts : 10/1/2014 10:54 am : link
and he plays hard and does well on specials

No thanks on James, sad Bust

would rather have kept Bradshaw for 3rd downs
