The reports earlier today said he was going to test it. I guess it didn't go well. That will only help the Giants. We'll probably know for sure no later than Friday if he'll play.
It's bad enough that Blaylock is missing practice time, even if he does wind up starting on Sunday. This will be a good weekend for the Giants to mix in lots of stunts, zone blitzes, and whatever else they have up their sleeve that requires an OL to have good communication.
Moore could have a field day on Carimi, and sending a blitzer tween RG and RT while DM sweeps to the outside would force Matty to dump off quickly or try passing running to the left.
This will be a good game for Perry to bring more heat.
And I think he will. The only way ATL will beat us is if Ryan can sit back and get it downfield to Julio and Roddy. If we don't give him the time, they'll have a tough time. Dial up some pressure, bring more than these guys can handle and beat the shit out of Ryan all day.
Agreed. But I expect the heat to come in with things like stunts and other things that impact continuity. I don't think they need to send the kitchen sink this week, although I'd like to see some blitzing.
