I didn't think that NBA games had a pacing issue.

I'm indifferent, although I can't see a compelling reason to change it other than time, and if the time of games isn't an issue then why bother?

It saves time and will look a little cleaner, so I get it. But I prefer how it is right now and feel like it's an unnecessary change.

Silver is clearly going to add 4 point half court shots in his tenure imo.

To a sure 2 points, but then he has to make 2 shots from the line just to equal that.

out of a slew of bad ideas to change things in sports that aren't broken. How about either calling less fouls or getting the players right to the line?

someone wrote a memo suggesting it as way to reduce game times? There's been no vote on it, and it's not imminent or anything. It's just an aide someone had.

I don't like it, but I don't think it would ever get serious consideration either.
