I know it's the morning after but I just can't stand this guy. He comes off as such an arrogant prick. It doesn't help that he's coaching the birds but Andy Reid beat us a lot in his time here and I never disliked him. A no-huddle running out the clock? He can even run out the clock better than the rest of the NFL! Really want to see him put in his place as soon as possible. There just seems to be a lack of respect there. I would say he's third most hated for me behind Jimmy Johnson and Buddy Ryan. And rising fast.
I did want to smack that smirk off his face when was pissed we were still running plays and calling timeouts during the final minute and a half.
He brings an exciting philosophy to the game and we had no answer so why hate him?
Not denying his ability as a coach but there is no question a comeuppance would be welcome.
Having said that, they kicked our ass and we let it happen. You can have arrogance as long as you are successful.
Most of our players last night probably felt like old guys playing with faster younger players, probably got mentally whipped as well.
In October.
Sorry, but that is BS. He earned the right to be classy. Not to have a shit eating grin on his face at inappropriate times (twice) during a nationally televised game against a shoe in future HOF coach.
We can only hope this also applies to his NFL experience
said it was a gimick. If they were so good why not just line up and play. It was good enough to get them to 4 Super Bowls however.
Hell, we were out-everythinged! Would you trade coaching staffs with the Eagles right now? I would in a NY minute. Now I see where even Eric calls for the end of the Couglin regime. With whom? Guess Mara and Tisch will be looking for the next Chip Kelly....and that's why I hate him. He's freakin'-a-good and the Eagles have him.
but he also completely outcoached Coughlin last night.
That's not incredibly difficult.
i dislike both Ryan and Carter but Ryan may have saved Carter's life. definitely saved his career.
Huh, Chip, huh?
All right then.
