NFT: Mid range, small smart phone suggestions

chris r : 10/15/2014 2:05 pm
I need a new phone and have come up empty so far in my online search. These are the features that are important to me.

+ Unlocked GSM
+ & lt; 450 USD
+ & lt;= 4.7" screen
+ Camera quality
+ Battery
+ Build quality

Not as important are:

+ The fastest processor
+ The sharpest screen

Any suggestions?

1. Money. I don't game or do processor intensive stuff on my phone so I don't need to pay for the latest technology.
2. Size. I have a tablet, I want something more portable and comfortable in the hand.

Let the bashing begin.

Let me say that I have the Q 10 since last Dec. It is an excellent phone, and since it isn't that popular, it is a great deal.

Well...

I think with a budget of up to $450, you probably can bet one of the higher end smart phones...and 4.7in screen isn't necessarily small.
yeah it should have been 4.7 or smaller

aren't known for great battery life or camera, are they? And the Nexus 5 has a 5 inch screen.

I think the best choice may be the Xperia z1 compact, but there's reports of quality control issues.

I hate the phablet trend.
I would definitely consider the 2013 Moto X.
