NFT: Best Way to Phili from NYC

TikiShock : 10/16/2014 10:18 am
I'm looking to get to Philadelphia (unfortunately) from mid-town Manhattan. I've looked up a few options but wanted to check and see what people here think the best way to go about it would be?
I have done it for

business using Amtrak. Very convienent. I have friends who used the Bolt/Wu-Tang/Mega Bus services semi-regularly with mininal problems for a decent price.

I've used Amtrak many times, very fast and convenient. But can be pricey. My sister uses the bus and has always liked it...inexpensive, quick, wifi, etc.
Amtrak is a seamless, easy trip.

I would suggest that as well.
Mega Bus is probably the best bang for your buck.

I think that should be your move. I could be wrong, but I'd assume Amtrak would be a bit pricey for such a relatively close trip.
take the bus

it's much cheaper.

Megabus or one of those chinatown buses.
Great

yes, more expensive than the bus, but you will have no traffic and a much more comfortable ride.
Amtrak is the quickest and easiest way

(Although not sure how the tunnel issues are messing with schedules), but if cost is an issue, and you don't have time constraints, you can take an NJT train to Rrenton, and get a local train into Philly.
Obviously Trenton.
Section331 : 10/16/2014 11:57 am : link
not Rrenton.

if you don't care, it is for business, then Amtrak is the way to go.

Otherwise, take the mega bus or NJ transit and switch to SEPTA.

You could also just drive if that is feasible for you.
