I think the worry comes in when Coughlin said he would Practice yesterday na dnow he has missed Wednesdy and today...

I really did suspect the layoff would hurt him, and I think it did. Unfortunately, it seems it took him the Philly game to get his legs back.

I know he's got the foot issue, but man he was explosive last year........this year he seems to be a different player.

that DRC was practicing on a limited basis today. Without DRC, we will have our hands full.

for a game or two but in the long run if this Giants team wants to do anything they need DRC healthy...

Bowman may actually help more in this game because he is mroe physical and will help in stopping the run more than DRC can...

DRC just estimated he is playing at 60 percent right now. He is hoping to practice tomorrow + expects to still play Sunday vs Dallas.

on another thread - he isn't perfect but as a MLB he manages to make a physical impact, up the middle. good blitzer, defense seems to get lined up well and not make mistakes

I'd like DRC to play but for this particular game, I feel like Bowman could get us by. He's fairly underrated. He can play and he's a ball hawk. DRC at 60-70% is not going to be as effective as Bowman.

Then let him rest for the bye.

Agree. Bowman, although probably not as fluid an athlete as DRC, could still be effective and is not a bad corner.

It just seems to me like every time DRC plays, he aggravates everything worse. A full 2 weeks off might be beneficial. Not that I'm a doctor but I'd rather have him a little healthier for the 2nd half of the year than have him keep getting banged up worse to the point where he's missing more than 1 game.
