For me I'm trying to justify why they have a chance on Sunday...maybe a lot of it is wishful thinking and it's an uphill climb no doubt but...
1. The Giants were flat out embarrassed Sunday night which I hope means a much more focused and hungry team Sunday. I expect the O-line to play angry after that disgraceful showing vs Philly. Maybe a little motivated after hearing all week how Dallas has the greatest O-line of all time all of a sudden. Maybe that fires up the giants D-line a bit too and JPP can get off on their backup RT.
2. Dallas is coming off their biggest regular season win in years and people are starting to mention them as possibly being the best team in the NFL...maybe they come out flat? Or have a bit of a letdown after last week?
3. Dallas has had an arrest this week, maybe a distraction? Free is out, DeMarco and Tyron have missed some practice this week.
4. This is an enormous game for the Giants moreso than Dallas. Win and their still within striking distance of the division. A loss and their 3.5 back of the Cowboys with 9 to go. The Wild Card is gonna be tough especially with losses already to Detroit, Arizona and Philly. They have to come out desperate on Sunday.
5. Eli loves that building.
Go Giants!
beat us...we need to take him out..
The news wont be about the Giants winning but rather how it was a trap game for them, their record is a mirage, we beat a hurt Dallas team etc...
Nevertheless, I fully expect a win against Dallas Sunday night. Dallas will rally in the 3rd q but then the Defense and Elis arm will stun them.
we wont be playing against the ref sunday night like we had to last week.

They came into MetLife stadium 1-7 with Jon Kitna and beat us by 2 touchdowns in 2010 so anything is possible. That was a horrible loss.if we win that game we win the division even with the Philly collapse
The Giants will not play as poorly as they did last Sunday and the Cowboys won't play as well as they did last Sunday. How much better and how much worse each of them play will determine the outcome of the game and recent history has shown that that is unpredictable.
p.s.-- It may not be until December that we have a handle on which teams are for real and which are pretenders.

Can I have some of what this guy is smoking
Talent seldom wins out in the NFL...I would think the '07 and '11 Giants playoff runs would prove this.
This is a must win for NY. As others have said, a loss here would make a playoff game in 2014 almost impossible.
