KO is back home!

bLiTz 2k : 10/18/2014 11:16 am
Newly signed Giants WR Kevin Ogletree (or as we call him KO) is back in Ny! He swung by my job last night, chatted with some of us who knew him from our high school days. Its exciting for all of us because hes definitely the biggest local name from where I grew up to reach this far in the NFL. Being back home is gonna be great for him and I hope he eventually contributes in big ways. KO is a real easy dude to root for, and now hes playing for my favorite team! Just thought id share.
let s see him

KO his former team.

I wonder how much of the playbook has he absorbed.. it might take a few weeks.
Very cool to know

a guy well that actually plays for the NY Giants.

The lady I'm renting 1/2 a condo from right now is about 47. She knows the Romo family well and chats with Tony's mom almost weekly. She used to babysit young Tony so now she's a big Cowboys fan.

Last week we watched the 2 separate games with the Cows at 4:30, Giants at 8:30. Not sure I can put up with watching with her this week though. No way do I want to go back to jail for an assault case again.
Lol!

I know the feeling. For the 2012 thursday opener Kevins mom gave a bunch of my friends tickets to MetLife (the one where he torched us and basically won the game for the 'boys). Respectfully I said theres no way I could have sat next to his family and NOT root for him to get creamed.
Nice.

Hopefully he makes a difference for the two plays that he's on the field for.
Yawn

No one is saying to pick him up in fantasy. But you always love to see local talent playing at the highest level in their hometown.

if he was making the trip?
bLiTz 2k: Are you a good influence?

Some players, like Will Hill, are better off without their old friends. Just sayin'.

Seriously - thanks for sharing, and best of everything to the newest Giant.
He's A Holy Cross H.S. Man

Also as far as off the field stuff..Kevin was always a "good kid". Even when people were around him that werent doing the right thing, he spent all of his after school time playing sports.

His family has gone thru a lot, his brother got into a bad incident a few years back that left him hospitalized and in a coma. My other good friend would bring him food almost every week.

Honestly hes gonna be an easy Giant to root for if he sticks.
seems like a good dude, but

he's just another body...nothing to be excited about. It's time for the Giants to gamble, yet predictably, they turn to the sure bet...
safe bet,

not sure...If KO is a sure bet, I'll take it every time!

he's experienced, has proven ability, and should be able to contribute more than Washington or Parker - at least for now.
