Its unbearable to watch. The D palys great on 1st and 2nd down then give up 3rd downs all game no matter the distance.

no pressure up front by the DL ... and that basically is the story line of this game - imho.

and I can't think of one legitimate reason he's still in the position of DC. Each failure is repeated time and time again and the players can't always be the source of the problem.

Time and time again, the man always makes the incorrect call on 3rd down and I've ever seen so many receivers so wide friggin open as I have with his defenses. third and long is as close to automatic as anything I've ever seen and it's been that way for his entire tenure. What does this guy have to do to get fired?

and played man. that is why Bryant was beating prince up. Its funny how this board wanted us to blitz and play pressure man and that is exactly what you got for most of the second half yesterday. You can't play well and consistently when your D line (JPP) takes plays off. We dont have good line backers on this team to blitz and cover TE and backs, so the onus is on the Dline and the secondary. Guess what the secondary is decimated by injuries and the Dline is not producing. The dline for 2 weeks in a row has not been able to compete with the oposing oline. you want to know what is wron with the defense and has been wrong probably since 07 (MS last year)we lack a real consistent playmaker on the DL. We lack a guy that will bring it on every play and lead the rest of the DL to glory. We have good players but they are overated. JPP is not all world. he is taking to many plays off. As a DC there is not much scheming around a DL that plays flat to often, slow line backers, and a decimated secondary.
