Like a HS coach. If you don't practice, you don't play..... I can't stand when he tells the media, "well, he has to practice..." These are professional football players, if a starter can go on Sunday he should play.
who was it on that weak attempt at a tackle on Murray
on a key down late in the 4th? It looked like Bowman, but Aikman mistakenly said DRC's name...wasn't sure...anyway, that player should be stripped naked, tarred and feathered.
He was pretty clearly limited. Of course he says he was good to go, most players will in these situations.
But what was very obvious was that Bowman does not have anything close to the recovery speed that DRC has when he's healthy. He made a nice play staying stride for stride on Terrance Williams early but he got beat badly in the back of the endzone on Williams' TD later on.
a lot of slack. He was giving his all for a losing cause. The guy grew up as a QB, by his 2nd full year as a pro TE he'll learn to protect the ball from those who stand him upright and then try to strip the ball (there'd be no issue if he just fell down after each catch instead of stretching for the needed 1st down. And wasn't that the knock on him in the preseason - catching and going down immediately?).
BTW he had 90 yards receiving. Just sayin'.
No, I'm not related to Larry; I just love his athleticism and obvious future with the NY Giants.
Bradshaw and nicks played and didnt practice...
donnell has more good than bad plays....
if he played more and 44 less we win....
we should have had 2 more tds...eli was
Passing fine..until tc started ounting run
plays...wasnt he a wr coach...he has macadoos
hands tied
You win the division in December because you won the overwhelming majority of your games in September, October, and November. So he's right. Right and dumb.
when he says this is a must win and then follows it up by saying what he did. I like that he is staying positive but he needs to just shut up and play. It drives me nuts that he hasn't progressed as a player.
we are seven games in, I know we have a ton of things to think about between now and next season. But I am very much leaning towards thinking the Giants should not resign JPP at the end of the year. I just don't think he is a guy you pay high DE money to and I don't see him being an affordable signing.
I like that they aren't hanging heads and saying the season's over after week 7. 3-4 is pretty much where everyone thought they'd be, and I like that the Giants players believe they will be a factor in December.
It's all okay. We lost. It happens. There are 9 games left in the regular season.
Also, Prince and JPP continue to live in fantasy land...

JPP: "We can be a great team. You see it. I see it. We're gonna be alright."
Their delusions are alarming
They're seeing the plays where they ALMOST got to Romo or ALMOST stopped Murray for a loss and ALMOST forced a punt on third down and thinking "We are so close."
They're close on a lot of plays. That means they're not really that close, because just a lot of NFL games hinge on just a couple of plays. The Giants would have to flip A LOT of those plays to be "a great team." I don't see it happening.

If given the choice between Suh in free agency or JPP, the decision is becoming pretty easy.
their delusions are alarming....No. They are competitors, and professional athletes who are at the top of their professions.
They believe in themselves and their ability. They are not negative whiny quitters like so many fans of the team here at BBI.
And they are correct. 3-4 with 3 home division games, they are not out of anything.
What is this? A Pep rally? Are all the fans blind? Sould we applaud them for being arrogant the entire week prior to playing Philly and then getting annihilated? That was professional? Should we be posting about how close we are and good we are? Are you kidding me? They're idiots will a professional label.
All the Giants have proven so far is that they're good enough to stay competitive, but not beat, the best teams in the league right now.
If we had a cupcake schedule coming up, I wouldn't be that concerned. But we have tough games coming up, and if we don't get better, we're going to play ourselves right out of contention.
And then was in to block as a gunner on punt return. The he sat again as Prince got worked only to come in on a 3rd and 1 on the TE side with Prince on Dez. I honestly have no idea what they were doing

Giants TE Larry Donnell: "I didn't protect the ball the way I should. I cost the team."
Larry Donnell on his two fumbles: "I was careless with the ball. Its not acceptable.''
Prince's quote is an absolute fact. After all of our 5-2 or better starts you would think you would know that.

I totally agree. OTOH, he could have gone beyond the first down marker on your route.
