Apparently weak draft with Blue chip prospects

DavidinBMNY : 10/19/2014 9:29 pm
From preliminary research looking at gbn report and draft countdown! the draft looks weak at the top. Less then 15 blue chip prospects. Right now NYG. Must be in top 15, so I'd they continue like this they should gets a decent player.

Does anyone know how deep this draft is compared tol last year where so many juniors came out?
I believe I saw that like last draft

OL and defensive linemen are pretty deep again or projected to be.
DUKE JOHNON RB MIAMI

learned not to take a RB in the 1st round. Maybe we will have a new team making those decisions since this one has us in the spot we are in now.
we are getting a new safety

or a OL or a DE to replace Kiwi
Not that weak a draft

not as strong as last year's draft but not a weak draft like 2013

It's actually a very strong QB/RB draft provided Winston doesn't end up in prison. Decent defensive players too
If you want a RB this is the draft to get one
dpinzow : 10/19/2014 10:24 pm : link
Gurley, Melvin Gordon, Abdullah, Yeldon, Duke Johnson, Karlos Williams, Mike Davis. All of them will be solid to terrific NFL RBs

If I were the Giants I would want Landon Collins, the dafety from Alabama. We have a big hole at FS and Rolle isn't getting younger, so safety is an immediate position of need and Collins has some Ed Reed-like skills

RB in round 1?

I might throw the remote...Gurley looks awesome, but I really want to see both lines return to dominance.

No I would wait to see if one of them slips to Round 3 due to the fact that RBs are a little devalued and you'll almost certainly see a good prospect there
we need another pass rushing DE,
Simms11 : 10/20/2014 10:22 am : link
an athletic, quick LB with physicality in his play (MLB or WLB) and a ball-hawking FS.

Need another mauling Guard on O, and a swing tackle. Need a TE that can block and an elusive, quick RB Change of pace back that can get around the edge in a hurry.
With needs at

OL, Dline, S & LB, the Giants will be able to go BPA next year.

We may get safety help if Cooper Taylor heals up. Might get a little better at DE if Moore can earn some more playing time.

If we draft at #15, they won't take a guard unless the guy is something special, IMO.

Between now & April we have free agency so I'd expect a lot to change over the next few months.
