With the 11th pick in the 2015 Draft, the Giants select ____

spike : 10/19/2014 10:15 pm
fill in the blank, or at least the position.

Don't screw it up, Reese.
Landon Collins
ajr2456 : 10/19/2014 10:17 pm : link
Or Shallique Calhoun.

A lot of good defensive ends, wrs and guards this year
Shaq
SHO'NUFF : 10/19/2014 10:22 pm : link
Thompson
Hmmm
Emil : 10/19/2014 10:24 pm : link
The Best offensive lineman available.
Hopefully an OL
illmatic : 10/19/2014 10:26 pm : link
Probably a DE or TE.

And it will be the 15th pick.
BPA
chris r : 10/19/2014 10:27 pm : link
the team has a need for good players everywhere.

I second this.
Lineman
rbsp7 : 10/19/2014 10:28 pm : link
Doesn't matter what side, add some more FA corners too, why not.
Landon Collins, S Alabama
dpinzow : 10/19/2014 10:28 pm : link
One of the best FS prospects to come around in a while, at least since Earl Thomas
Landon Collins
Anakim : 10/19/2014 10:35 pm : link
If he's not an absolute force in the NFL, I'll be surprised. He really is the goods. Better prospect than Ha Ha and Barron
Devin Funchess
dep026 : 10/19/2014 10:38 pm : link
Jimmy Graham-esque.
wont collins be a top 5-7 pick
NewYorkGiants : 10/19/2014 10:43 pm : link
How will he last to us
If a blue chip OL is there, it better be one selected
micky : 10/19/2014 10:43 pm : link
.
Ugh...
bradshaw44 : 10/19/2014 10:44 pm : link
Do you guys see what Dallas is doing with the best OL in the NFL? If we have that, our O will make our defenses job easier. FUCK anything else but the best OL available. Just my opinion. But really think about what Dallas is doing with guys off the street on D while converting 60% of there 3rd downs on offense and leading the NFL. Even a shitty D plays well when they have time to rest.
It'll be Kevin White from WV

As of now, yes. But things can change between now and April (obviously), and he did say "with the 11th pick"
well ill take Best OL available
NewYorkGiants : 10/19/2014 10:53 pm : link
Or amari cooper-kidding

Sort of
Why are you kidding about Amari Cooper?
Anakim : 10/19/2014 10:58 pm : link
He's a fantastic player
A "blue goose" OLT.
Red Dog : 10/19/2014 11:06 pm : link
The line rebuilding has to continue with replacing Beatty, and there's a lot more to do after that.

Hes an absolute stud
I only said i was kidding cause he would be way gone by pick 11 and i know everyone right now wants oline or defense to be the pick
Dallas has a good OL
djm : 10/19/2014 11:10 pm : link
But let's not forget that they also have a beast RB, beast WR, a damn good #2 WR and a hof TE with a good young te behind him. The giants have beckham and two decent Rbs. And that's about it.

The giants need playmakers all over the field. Their OL isn't bad and will get Schwartz back.
We definitely need a starter at the O-Line
Anakim : 10/19/2014 11:13 pm : link
Beatty, as of now, seems set at LT and we hope Schwartz can solidify the RG spot, but other than that, it's up for grabs. Richburg is the longterm answer at either LG or OC and Pugh either at RT or OG. So that leaves one spot
We need a LBer, a Safety
kepler20 : 10/19/2014 11:47 pm : link
We need a fucking LBer who can make plays. None of our LBers make any fucking plays but a tackle that nets the opponent 5-15 yards.
I'd love that Oakman kid from Baylor,
Jim in Forest Hills : 10/20/2014 12:40 am : link
they seriously need a pass rush.

He's the definition of a boom or bust pick. Penn State transfer. He has a lot of technical issues, but he's a physical specimen in the mold of Jadeveon Clowney. Crazy wingspan, crazy size, crazy athleticism.

To paraphrase Danny Kanell, "he's the LeBron James of football"
maybe we could pick up Will Hill on waviers
gtt350 : 10/20/2014 5:17 am : link
.
Melvin Gordon HB Wisconsin
TampaGiant : 10/20/2014 5:32 am : link
but I'm all for blue goose o line. Melvin Gordon keeps getting comparisons to Jamal Charles yet has a body type closer to AP . Looks like a playmaker to me! But maybe we get him in the second round . A lot of good backs this year and I think Jennings needs a speed compliment. Andre Williams doesn't have great vision IMO. Also goes down to easily at the line of scrimmage.
Best
BigBlueCane : 10/20/2014 6:03 am : link
Offensive Linemen available and not another overrated Badger RB.
...
SanFranGiantsFan : 10/20/2014 6:20 am : link
Either DL or OL.
Can we draft a Defensive Coordinator?
Mike in NY : 10/20/2014 7:43 am : link
Fewell is squandering the talent we have
gotta be an OL
msh : 10/20/2014 8:10 am : link
and probably an OT cant ship that dud beatty out the team fast enough, they also need a LB badly you see the drop off when beason is out and he is injury prone if they can keep beason and mcclain and add another LB the defence under a better DC than fewell could be really good they just seam to lose containment and drop far too many coverages under fewell never seams to improve and special teams has killed them far too often too

think they also need another OG and prob a RT so pugh can move inside to RG he is clearly not a fit at OT,

hopefully they can resign prince, jpp and thurmond to new deals as these guys are important to the core of the defence
moving forward

bill cower said the giants are one of a select few teams he would return to coaching for,he likes defence and power running which is the giants way of old, think they need to keep macadoo even with that piss poor OL they been more effective than gilbride the last couple of years
I'll go all Big Ten here,
barens : 10/20/2014 9:31 am : link
first with DE Randy Gregory, and if he's gone already, OT Brandon Scherff.
Given the projected strengths of the draft, at this point
JonC : 10/20/2014 9:40 am : link
DE, WR are big factors. OT figures behind them.
Collins looked terrible against Ole Miss
jeff57 : 10/20/2014 9:43 am : link
But they do need a safety.

It's way too early. But I still lean towards a tackle like Scherf.
Pass rusher, corner, WR or OT
Andy in Halifax : 10/20/2014 9:46 am : link
Those are the positions they consider premium.

Outside shot at MLB if they see a younger Beason available.
Best lineman available
LPete : 10/20/2014 10:17 am : link
Offensive or defensive.
Lots of big needs to fill again ...
Beer Man : 10/20/2014 12:01 pm : link
In no particular order:
1. OL
2. LB
3. DE
4. SS
5. DT
OL
Rick in Dallas : 10/20/2014 12:29 pm : link
need to continue to rebuild the OL.
You know you're supposed to draft a player, not a position, right?
Anakim : 10/20/2014 12:38 pm : link
Who we should draft and what our biggest needs are are mutually exclusive
BPA
Go Terps : 10/20/2014 12:39 pm : link
Outside of QB there is no position that can't use help.
A stud offensive lineman
David B. : 10/20/2014 1:04 pm : link
Just once?? Please??

Never happen.

We did draft an OL in the first round last year and another one in the second round this year

Beatty's not a huge problem...at least not yet. Even so, you draft the BPA. You don't draft based on position
Not sure. Who is the best undersized, speedy WR
