always fun to exploit blown coverages and safeties who hit like they're made of cotton. First Escobar TD was Hosely forgetting his role. Second was well contested but would've been jarred free or prevented entirely if Demps was a better safety.
to Witten in the second half had me laughing. He literally ran 10 yards down the field in between two flat-footed defenders, and turned around to make the catch. No resistance whatsoever.
Every single offensive player says that going into the game.
the difference is that hte winning team usually is able to execute and exploit those specific matchups, be it because of down & distance, point differential, OL/DL play, etc.
Defensive schemes he employs are easy to exploit. Having said that are defensive execution sucks with no discipline at all. Defense never wins on third down.
Do the players believe in his game plans?
Bowman, Holsey and Demps (if you include Cooper Taylor which I think is fair) are all third sting players. "Coverage schemes" are one thing and the guys playing them are something else.
tailored to give the offense the advantage, particularly in the passing game. If you can't blitz well and pressure the qb, WR's are going to get open. When QB's have all day, they are going to make plays.
Sticking with the run game killed us too. The WCO worked great later in the game; no reason to nit use it earlier. We can't have 3 and a mile all the time.
its the fact that the QB has all day to sit back and wait for someone to become open. Without any pressure, even the greatest DBs in the game will be exposed.
Believe they ran so much because..we. couldnt
stop the pass...they were afraid eli would
keep scoring...but when we tried to run it blew that...
we helped them....I thought tc was trying to match
them...ego

Just look at the second Dallas TD, the one before halftime. Bowman had good coverage on Williams but Romo had time to roll out, sit and wait, and Williams eventually shook free.
sorry if any decent QB has all day to throw
he is going to complete the pass
Romo was untouched most of the day especially on third down
the last TD was typical. the giants had everyone covered at first but Romo had incredible amount of time
the receiver broke to open part of end zone and it was TD.
they used to have a player-manager sometimes. I wonder if Rolle could possibly become a player-coach next year. He seems to have a lot of things to say about the defense.

that being said - cannot stand fewell.

Yes. Papa mentioned it on WFAN during the game, too.
Yep.
