WFAN is horrible

after a loss?

Need to do something about it. If the current staff is going to cultivate the Mets and Jet fan base then they should be let go. Giants Yankees pay the salaries they should get their money's worth. I'm talking about the flunkies like Benito Roberts malosis,Steve,and get rid of the met announcers. It's New York they can't get better guys than this?

you are listening. It's all about ratings. If those guys don't get ratings to sell to advertisers, they get replaced. The Giants and Yankees are paid very well by WFAN to broadcast the games, which is what they care about. If you want Giants related content, they stream it on Giants.com. Or you come to BBI.

I gave up long ago with WFAN following my sports teams. When they first started in 1987, and there was no internet, that was one of the few sources of information that I could get on my teams at any given time up through the Giants championship run in 1990. Back then, on Mike and the Mad Dog, the format was the same. Mad Dog would taunt the Giants fans, Mike (as a friend of Parcells) would defend them. And it made for great radio.

However, you can get all the Giants or Yankees news you want online or any other variety of sources. You also have to remember, WFAN was the Mets home for 20+ years, so that is buried in the DNA of the hosts to discuss them. And the Jets sole existence is for media and radio fodder during the week because they are a circus and they suck. The Giants are "boring", pretty much always have been, that's the way the organization is run. They don't go for the flashy names or big controversies. The Jets seek that crap out. That's Woody Johnson. It is what it is.

What could you possibly hope to hear from a guy like Joe Beningo about the Giants that will give you any pleasure in terms of football analysis? His football analysis consists of "look bro."

We live in the age of the internet where there are podcasts on any subject you want. Find a Giants one, or just listen to general NFL ones.

Bob Papa in the morning on 88 NFL channel. It was mostly Giants talk this morning, even taking calls from Giants fans. It's worth every penny

I've loved WFAN for many years but its current state is terrible outside of Francesa. Boomer and Carton are awful. They are not diehard sports fans. Carton routinely gets facts wrong and simply cannot talk sports at a high level. Boomer has become a cartoon character. Joe and Evan's show isn't any good. When Mikey retires that station is going down the toilet.

But i'm sure most of you whiny cry baby fucks have tuned out already.

You want to hear the douchebags pile on about the team after a loss? Not me. I avoid all of that after losses. After wins, I like to hear the good stuff, but that's it.
