So, halfway through we can pretty much see where this is going. You can't say it's too early to tell anymore.
1) The OL stinks. It is what it is. Walton and Jerry are horrid, Richburg has promise but is a rookie playing out of position. Beatty and Pugh are capable but not great right now, could be a function of the weak middle. They can't run the ball because the middle caves in as soon as the handoff is made.
2) The DL is average at best, LBs below average. JPP is not convincing anyone that he should get a big new contract and belongs at LDE. Hankins is good but needs help. Moore needs to play more RDE on 3rd down. No pressure at all. Romo had all day. Overpowered in the run game, especially after Jenkins went down.
3) Eli still has it, but it looks less and less likely that they have another run left while he is still in his prime. The OL is putrid.
4) I like Williams, but no back can run behind that line. That said, somebody here pointed out that AW has a tendency to turn sideways rather than square up at impact. Great observation, I noticed it many times yesterday.
5) It's clear they are not good enough to beat good teams. at 3-4, they have IND, SEA, SF and DAL over the next month. 3-8 a distinct possibility. 6-10 finish. What happens next year? Lots of decisions to be made.
Agreed. It all starts at the LOS
Anything can happen.
a lot different than trailing two separate teams by 3 games in the loss column, with a head to head loss already vs both. I doubt any team has ever recovered from such a scenario to win the division. Wildcard may or may not be in play, but that seems best case
We aren't well coached.
We will be 3-7 or 3-8 soon enough.
Yes, they won 7 in a row to do it to close the season.
Brett, if they don't hit 12 it will be dissapointing.
They have an excellent offense, defense is just ok but their schedule helps them.
Injuries will be the only thing that holds them back from winning the NFC East. They are a better overall club than Philly (in fact, you could make the case they are better across the board on offense).
Yes, nice hold by Randle on the bubble screen. Not only does he get flagged, the guy he held STILL made the tackle.
The saddest part is that I'm sure Reece will make the same mistake next year.
Aging.
Right, Stan???
LMAO...

Luck will get confused with all those Giants players on his team that he will pass to the wrong blue jerseys. The two teams' color schemes are very similar.

Look just as average as the Giants do.
Like I say......this is a league of matchups......the Giants look slow compared to these two teams.....
