66 percent of his yardage came on three first half runs, including the 10-yard play that should have resulted in a loss had Kennard not gotten stiff-armed.
They actually did a nice job on him for the most part...but those three runs do unfortunately count.
The three big runs were all to the right (left side of defense).
No surprise they ran away from JPP/Hankins. Kiwi continues to get pushed around too easily.
I thought the run D was very good. It was (as usual) their inability to get off the field on 3rd downs that killed the D. And it's not like the Cowboys were gashing the Giants on 1st/2nd and setting up 3rd and short. They had several conversions on 3rd and 5+
Yup, no pass rush whatsoever from the DL. And they can't disguise a blitz to save their lives so it's a big play waiting to happen when they do bring it.
Shows you how 2-3 plays can really skew a total. But it was effective as obviously as the Giants couldn't pin their ears back.
I don't get how Dallas D was supposed to be legendarily bad, yet they can be "coached" up to play this well (well comparatively at least).
It works when your line is as good as theirs and you're getting positive yards on every play. It doesn't work when you have our OL because you get stuffed for no gain more often than not and wind up in 3rd and longs that way.

Their D wasn't that good I don't think, they allowed drives of 11, 10, 9, and 8 plays plus a 1 play touchdown drive. However, two of those drives ended in punts in their territory and the 2 turnovers bailed them out at the end. One more 3rd down or one less fumble and you have a very close game. But hey, they got the stops and the TOs so they get credit.

and then bust a few. And they have to respect your running game which opens up the passing game.

Still need to show it though. But you're obviously right that the Giants OL can't get the necessary push.

they were excellent against the run, which was supposed to be their Achilles heel, I thought they were allowing 5 ypc coming in to this game (didn't Aikman say that)?
On offense we still have work to do along the OLine, we need a healthy Cruz, and we need a wideout to compliment Beckham, Randle is simply too stupid. We have the running backs, but we need Jennings, Williams will be very good, but he is not that right now. Eli is of coarse a very good QB, but he needs a better team around him.
I swear we should've kept Osi instead of Kiwi. I don't kno w what their contract numbers are, but Kiwi is beyond useless.
Id say 2009 with bill Sheridan and cc brown was much worse.
We didn't see Arian Foster when we played Houston.
3-4 looks a whole lot better than 2-5...
