are not very good and also are more susceptible to turnovers. This offense is good, but they need to take a few more shots downfield to keep defenses honest. I can't remember oine play yesterday where they went deep?!

but I believe the WCO (West Coast O) was SPECIFICALLY designed to negate or neutralize .the dominant blitzing / all-out-blitzing Ds (a la C'85 Bears) that came about in the early and mid-80's ... Now .. the defenses have basically been "immasculated" ... and so it would make sense to now have a "grind-it-out" running attack mixed in with "down-field" passing attack.

Also, for all of you doubting Eli's ability to operate in this offense consider 1) his stats this year compared to this time last year; and 2) re-watching Super Bowl 46 where he was 30 for 40 for only 296 yards of short to medium passes mixed in with the bomb to Manningham.
