Kreider only recently started getting OT playing time. I figure they didn't trust him in his own zone, but that speed is such an asset with all that open ice.
But I'm already worried about beyond that because I think he's going to turn into an elite NHL PF between now and then and he's going to cost a lot of money to lock up long-term. I just hope we can do it and will have the space.
who would even think for one second that a 19 year old kid who is playing for the New York Rangers to even his own surprise would "play with no heart". I mean at the very base level, he probably was trying with his heart more than anyone else except Hayes. Makes zero sense. We move on.
more worried about resigning Staal and keeping this teams nucleus and strength - Defense and Goaltending - together than about kreider at this point in two years MSL will be off the books... we should be able to afford a 1st line wing.
if we can get 6 or 7 wins by the time stepan gets back - call it 7-4-1... by the time stepan gets back .... you would be tickled pick with that scenario. keep it going. turnaround in play since the 2nd intermission of the carolina game has been tremendous.
i like to think my post at that intermission challenging this team and MSL was the catalyst. i think its pretty clear it was.
Mueller looks like a keeper and Duclair has no heart?
Rick Nash has 8 goals this season, tied for the most in Rangers franchise history through their first 7 games of a season. He didn't score his 8th goal until the Rangers 27th game last season. [-]

Duclair plays with no heart? Where does stuff like that come from? I'd like to see the process in his head that puts that together and comes to fruition.
Woke up this morning and still had a fuckin semi from this game.
Clowe was really fucking overpaid, but I'd love his game for this team.
A thought I had last night: Without lockouts and assuming he stayed in the NHL for the three years he went to Europe, Jagr would have been able to get to 800 goals pretty easily - and would have an outside shot at Gretzky's record over the next couple of years (if he plays that long).
All just theoretical thinking, but his longevity is incredible.
Anyone who puts Clowe and Zubrus on the ice at the same time in OT deserves to be fired. Who in his right mind puts the 2 slowest people in the NHL on the ice at the same time in OT? Yup Coach Dumbass does!
Also Coach Dumbass continues to tell us the team need to do a better job on the PK. Really??? Hey Genius, how about cutting Bryce Salvador who has been on the ice for 7 of 8 PK goals in 29 chances and 13 of the 19 goals given up this season. That assclown has no business being in the NHL besides on our fucking roster.
On a night when the Rangers were sleepwalking through the first two periods, to find some energy late was incredibly enjoyable.
By the way, Jersey folks - those sarcastic "Henrik" chants would probably be more effective if the crowd wasn't 40% blue, and there weren't 4,000 empty seats.
Is already an elite power forward, he will improve, and may improve a lot if he works for it, but the kid is already a very good player, he takes too many penalties, and is looking to brak out too much, but who would with that speed. But the guy can not be moved from in front of the net, is just starting to get some garbage goals, and his speed and size makes him a very unique player. he will not be lost, I think we will see him and Hayes together for a long time.
Kreider's getting some unfair scrutiny from the refs IMO
He's getting called for some really marginal stuff. I hope he can shed the rep he's getting because as my alltime favorite player Sean Avery could tell you, that rep can kill you.
So I'm gonna assume it's the running goalies thing. Enough people from other teams cried about it that he gets put under the microscope now. This is all speculation on my part, of course, but by my eyes he's getting held to a different standard than everyone else and I can't think of another reason why he would.
possibly, of Kreider mauturing a little. Instead of trying to do too much to win it himself, he beautifully took two defenders with him to the middle and made a precision pass for the winning shot. It was really a pretty play.
nice win. congrats to evil stralman.
on to montreal (eventually... just 4 games here in 14 days for the blueshirts)
And did you all see that move by Severson on Kreider? That kid hada great game.
Not enough though.
The Wrenches go home with only a measly point after leading by two.
Sorry Wrenches.
Agree, although the Devils didn't win the shootout last year, I believe
Duclair played with no heart? What?

From Aqua Teen Hunger Force...AND HE'S PISSED!
What kind of name is Poon, anyway?
-Comanche Indian
Carl's the best.
Only Klein's 18th career goal, but three of them have been game-winners.
Yeah, him and Ash seemed to have left.

May he stay behind the Devils bench for all eternity!

Go back to your shanties.
