Home vs. Indy, at Seattle, home vs. 49ers, and then Dallas at home. After that, the schedule gets much easier. So what say you? I think 2-2 is feasible.
that addresses the fact that everyone is stacking the box against us taking away the run and our OLine can't sustain a pocket for Eli who seems to be under duress every time he goes back to pass we'll be lucky to win a handful of games. I'd like to see us run more from the spread offense.
knows? More than any other league, what happens in the NFL is determined on a week to week basis. Injuries can radically change outcomes. The next opponent is the only one that matters.
With a positive attitude ill tell you how I see the rest of the season
I think it's just as unlikely we end up 0-4 as we do 4-0. The optimist in me thinks we can do 2-2 easily, but I wouldn't be surprised by 1-3 either.
2-2 would keep us very much alive, in particular if one of those wins is against Dallas (which I think might be doable depending on how Jennings and Schwartz return).
RE: With a positive attitude ill tell you how I see the rest of the season
Winning in Seattle is going to be tough, despite their struggles, but the 3 at home are winnable. Indy is really good, but I like the fact that we have them coming off our bye.
I just don't know how we slow down Luck, but for some reason, I think we win that game.
The problem is they are just as likely to lose all 4. It really depends on their OL improving. they will likely need to win shootouts in all 4.
In years past the Seattle and/or SF games are the types of games they would go out and win in a surprisingly decent fashion to give hope. They would then pull the hope out from under us the following week with a crushing loss. We'll see.
is the realistic goal. The 4 tough games are followed by St.L, JAX, Ten and Was (not in that order). Those are all winnable but we will likely lose at least one of them. Just like the next 4 all look losable but we will probably win one of them. So 7 and 8 heading to the final game and out of contention.
The Giants will be flat after the bye (loss), Seattle will annihilate us at home (they won't be embarrassed at home again against an NFC East team), SF is a maybe only because the Giants will be desperate by then, and Dallas will come in knowing they can put us away once and for all.
The Giants don't have the horses...simple as that, and it seems we play two teams every week, and nobody can win that way.

1-4 over the next four games certainly isn't realistic.
I think they could beat the Colts. In theory anyways. Reality who knows.
Seattle at home beats the Giants.
The 49ers defense is decimated the Giants might beat them.
The Giants could beat Dallas.
So I think the optimist would think 3-1 to 2-2. We could go 0-4, at which point you can be sure the coaching staff is being revamped next year.
they may go 4-4...that's 7-8....if Philly has something to play for like best record/home field advantage, 7-9....Kind of what most on this board predicted,,,,and another year with no playoffs....
Now, that is not the end of the world.....however, if this front office felt that this team could make the playoffs, and based their draft and free agency picks on that assumption, then this team is in trouble for the next few years, and the front office has let the Eli window close a little more......
We beat Indy
We Beat Seattle
and lose the next two
That's what's maddening about this team. Seattle and San Francisco don't look any better than we do, to be honest, so we'll see what happens.
WIN @ Seattle
WIN vs San Fran
WIN vs Dallas
WIN @ Jax
WIN @ Ten
WIN vs Washington
LOSS @ St Louis
WIN vs Philly
We take the 2nd wildcard... Its not realistic, but A man can hope cant he?

2-2 and we'll still be alive around Thanksgiving time (barely, but alive)
1-3, and this season is for all intents and purposes, over.

I hope we win them all or at least remain competitive in all of them.

Still running the table in those last 5 games would be very difficult, but they would need to go 2-2 in the next 4 to put themselves in position.
