With the Cowboys building this dominate OL, we need to revamp and build another dominate DL.
A couple of weeks ago, there were reports that Ndamokung Suh is interested in playing in New York next season when he becomes a free agent. I don't see the Jets who run a 3-4 signing Suh when they have Richardson and Wilkerson. We are the perfect fit for him as we run a 4-3 defense.
The Giants will have the cap room to re-sign JPP and go after Suh. That's before extending Eli Manning, which frees up even more money in 2015. Remember when the Giants went after Albert Haynesworth in 2009 when they had Tuck and Osi and Kiwi on the DL. It's not like the Giants can't afford a superstar player or two on the defensive side of the ball.
Our defensive line needs a jolt. Our defensive line is above average right now, but it would become elite with an addition of Suh. Hankins and Suh on the inside, with JPP and Moore out the outside. Re-sign Ayers and we are set along the DL.
Adding Suh, should be priority number 1 in the off season. Heck, there are already reports out there that he wants to be here. Make it happen, Big Blue!
BTW, Suh can wear #93 like he did in college with JPP wearing #90.
If he has grown up, sign me up
Dominant.
Dominant.
It's not difficult.
But he is only a guard.

I will try to be a better human being from this point on because of you.
Again...
Thank You

Very true. He's not a complete, meaning elite, player.
I'm not sure what SF's cap situation is, but it's hard for me to envision them letting him get away if they can afford him. Their line is not in great shape right now. Losing him would be another hit.
He's had a down year, maybe a blip but I would be careful.
I remember when the Giants had Tuck, Kiwi and Osi and they went out and offered Albert Haynesworth in the 2009 off season an $80 million contract. So it's not unrealistic, IMO

Have they redone Kapernick's contract? If not that might eat up some of their cap space there.
Would he look good in Big Blue? Yes.
? is: can NS not hurt team doing something stupid?
That's are big question mark.
JPP better realize he's 'Osi' more or less and will be offered accordingly here. But I have to believe if we did get NS, he may be willing to take less salary and more production bonuses that he could get with NS and JH on the line.
Sorry I know thats an old one, but had to throw it in just for the neck of it.

Yes, Kap got a new deal this past summer. Looked big on paper but it's quite team friendly. The hit isn't too big early on and he has to stay healthy and continue to play well in order to get most of the money because SF can basically cut him at any time after this year and be off the hook if they wanted to.
Jpp Hankins suh moore would be fantastic moving foward. And we can finally start to get some real pressure on qbs weekly
The big thing is it would be great to have going forward to help us in division having to deal with the Cowboys oline and Eagles oline
The only way I'd be against signing Suh is if it jeopardizes resigning Prince in 2016.
As for Suh, his nastiness would be a good thing on this defense as would his talent but I am just not sure I'd want to give out that kind of money to Suh. I'm all for signing him based on talent but I'm not sure that is the best allocation of cap resources.
It is not happening
If they were to sign Suh, then Jenkins is probably gone. You're looking at Suh, Hankins, Bromley and Kuhn.
Either way, I'd be shocked if NYG offered Suh market money. 4-3 defenses require pass rushing DEs, that's where the big money is spent, and they can't spend big on every position.

I think it's possible only if the Giants up the guarantee and lower the overall size of the contrct.
Ask yourself if you'd rather pay antrel/kiwi/jenkins 10-15m a year or give all of it to Suh.
Suh is more likely to be a Jet.
Maybe instead of signing Suh, Paea at DT along with KJ Wright at LBer and we address two big areas of need in free agency with two players entering the prime of their career?
