Last year was the definition of a stretched out season. Clay 'a entire storyline leading to a not shocking long overdue end , Venus returning, etc. Sadly I think this seasons stretching out for a really good final 2 episodes is even worse .
The instant the blackmailer's name was given as "Greensleeves", I KNEW there would be a shitty version of the song somewhere in the episode.
The show isn't even trying now. What possible reason would Happy and Rat have for being so vague and threatening?? At least there was only one murder this week.
I find this show more watchable than Walking Dead.
The Walking Dead is full of holes too. That and Carl and his dad suck. If they ever die I will watch that episode and then start watching the episodes going forward.

That being said, I'm really enjoying the ride this season. I've quit questioning plot/logic holes a long time ago for this show. We're going to probably see dozens and dozens of deaths before this show ends. Buckle up!

and it has absolutely declined since. That's not such a big deal - all shows decline as time goes on and they run out of ideas. The problem here is they went at least a season too long, and now they're the definition of mailing it in.
Sagal's singing almost seems like Sutter wants to send a FU to FX for whatever reason, I can't imagine why anyone thinks that's good entertainment.

believe that Gemma will get what's coming to her so that there will be some satisfaction for suffering through the "jump the shark" seasons but I have a feeling it'll end with the club totally unraveling and Jax riding off into the sunset with his kids and his junkie ex while Gemma is left all alone with the pain of losing her "family"...figure Nero will die along with the ex cop or they'll abandon her when they find out the truth so all her efforts will have been in vain....or couse, she'll probably kill herself in that scenario so there's that.
I agree with you. Everyone seems to be waiting for Gemma to get her payback. I have a feeling it's never gonna happen. Back in July ? I read an article that Sutter said only 2 main characters die. Maybe he was telling the truth or maybe he changed his mind since then. Soon we will find out,December 2nd is the date for the finale.
won't bother getting my hopes up. And what JCN said, her being the focal point is just ridiculous. How Jackson can get out of every scenario, outsmarting guys like Pope/Marks, yet can't figure out that his Mom is behind almost everything is crazy. And I don't buy into Jax's judgement being clouded either, he's got no problem killing one of his own.
Happy remains my favorite character. He's the only guy who's been true to his character and not annoying. Just wants to fuck shit up and add a smiley face to his collection (him watching cartoons and laughing when being kidnapped by the Chinese was gold).
