NFT: Steve Jobs Movie (Boyle, Sorkin, Bale)

UConn4523 : 10/23/2014 2:15 pm
Interesting, and very promising trio of talent on this project. Sorkin (Social Network), Boyle (Slumdog, 127 Hours, Sunshine, etc), and Bale will be making this film. Sign me up.
Steve Jobs - ( New Window )
Love Boyle

but was looking forward to Fincher - Sorkin reunion. Fincher is the one that pushed for Bale.
I love Boyle as well

my wife never saw Slumdog so we started it lastnight; haven't seen it since it came out myself. Very good movie. Still believe 28 Days Later is my favorite Zombie/Infected movie by a wide margin. I also DVR'd Sunshine and will probably watch it this weekend.

Interesting that the article says the entire film will be 3 scenes only in which we look into a product launch.
Bale is the perfect guy to play Jobs

Sorkin is always a little iffy, but his worst work is usually TV and his movies usually pretty great.
Does there any reason

To have 2 Steve Jobs movies. First one sucked im sure the second one won't be much better.
Bigblue you really don't know the filmmakers then

first off this film is based off the official jobs bio, the other wasn't. That bio is beloved by all.

secondly Aaron Sorkin is writing, the budget is bigger and Danny Boyle one of the strongest filmmakers alive is directing. Big difference between this and the low budget one with Ashton Kutcher.

You talking about Pirates of Silicon Valley? Mediocre, but I thought Noah Wyle did a reasonable Jobs.
Not sure why his life will make a cool movie.

Yeah. People confuse successful with interesting.
I thought a movie about facebook sounded stupid

until I read up on it and saw who was involved in the project.

No. there was a movie in 2013 titled Jobs starring Ashton Kutcher. It was not that good.
