But yeah, Gabbert over Watt and Ponder over Quinn...whoops. And that is why you don't draft based on position. You draft the BPA

I think Locker is the 3rd crappy QB there

Kerrigan who was a Pro Bowler went 16th. We got Prince 19th. Julius Thomas and Richard Sherman, two of the best at their respective positions went in the 5th. A few UDFA's are starters now.

I'd still argue that QB is the exception. If your team doesn't have an above-average starter, draft QBs until you get one. Going 4-12 with a young guy who flames out isn't really any better than going 7-9 with mediocre stopgap. But if you get lucky and find The Guy, you can be a consistent contender.

Cam is the 4th qb,
