NFT: Anyone ever stay at Hotel Riu Caribe AI in Cancun?

Wife and I are thinking of going for our 25th anniversary. Never been to Cancun, but have been to a bunch of other Caribbean locations.
Any security concerns recently?

Any feedback would be very welcome.

Note, this is a different hotel than the Riu Cancun, but same chain.

In Jamaica and Costa Rica and really liked both. They seemed to be the same exact layout at both places. A few swim up bars, 3 or 4 restaurants you need reservations for and then a couple buffets which are always open.

It's ok.

Nothing great. Riu Palace Americanas is better. If you want a great hotel that gives you $1500 hotel credit for a week try Le Blanc AI. You won't regret it.
