the emergence of Tim Hardaway Jr it does make J.R. Smith expendable. That being said part of the intrigue for me this season is seeing if Fisher can get Smith to play in a more structured offense. It's one of the more interesting dynamics of this season.
is too low right now to move. He's gonna have to increase his trade value first and even then... I have a feeling teams are going to say if Phil Jackson can't get through to him how the heck can we?
it's like everyone on the Knicks has had truth serum administered
to them all of a sudden. It's not funny from a basketball point of view, since it confirms what we all know about Smith and we're stuck with him, but I think it's funny from an organizational point of view after so many years of North Korea-like thought control.
the other day that JR is not long for this team. His problems are not physical they are mental- in other words he's an idiot. Phil knows he can't change that. I think he probably lasts the season but when he's a short timer next off season he's gone for a ham sandwich and a couple of deflated basketballs.
He's being blunt (pun intended) about something which is unfortunately coupled with poor wording.
JR Smith is a go to scoring option when he's on the court. That's a fact. Being a go to scoring option when you're on the court means you're more accustomed to draining the rock then playing hot potato with the ball in a system.
Travis Wear? Also, Phil is reportedly considering not exercising Shane Larkin's option for next year in favor of more cap space.
Any interest in claiming Jordan Hamilton or James Michael McAdoo, guys? Phil reportedly had interest in the latter. We could claim a guy, waive/trade Outlaw (though who would take him?) and send Ware to Westchester. We have 15 contracts guaranteed on the roster right now, plus Wear.
on waiving outlaw and keeping wear. In the long run this move really doesnt mean much, but i like it. Outlaw's only value would be in including his salary in some type of in season deal.
Oh, right, JR Smith does.
Shoulda kept Cope.
Nah this is one thing Woodson can't be blamed for.

Still banging this drum, huh? Well, you are consistent if nothing else.
PS - He does seem a bit dense
Haha. I was just messing around. Copes my boy.

Mcadoo stinks. I guess if they want to put him on the dleague team I'm ok with it.
