How about forgetting the dumbass tv show and BBI mascot's creating totes adorbs threads and focus on the seriously unamusing prospect of children being put in the worst kind of harm's way by their mother?
First of all, speaking for myself, I make sure to have viewed at least an episode when I make statements like I did just so I can back it up. I have done the same with Jersey Shore and the Kardashians. In all 3 cases, my opinion was only heightened by watching their shows for myself, not the other way around.
Second of all, just for their original rise to fame the mother is an asshole. Most of those pageant moms and dads fall into that category. But, from their spinoff show, you see the family as a whole is just white trash. I was just discussing this with my wife because there is a girl at work with whom I am friendly and my wife is freinds with her too. She is always one to defend people and this is no different as she tried to convince me to watch this stupid show claiming they are not trash. Sorry, but they are the personification of white trash. I don't find their ignorance or their inability to speak English endearing. I find it both sad and disgusting. It's sad they are so ignorant, but disgusting that they became rich as a result.
Some people root for the families in these cases, happy they were able to cash in. I find it insulting that families like this get rewarded for being imbeciles. Some people say this is the American Dream. In actuality, it is the opposite of the American Dream because they aren't being rewarded for hard work, but rather just for being stupid. I find that insulting as a person in general and enraging as someone who works his ass off to just try to support my family.
So there's someone for everyone. Until Ebola kills us.
