The Cris Carter thread just got me wondering. I'm from New Britain, CT, not big by many standards, and my home town has produced two that I know of: Willie Hall (Raiders) and Tommy Myers (Saints).
Just curious about your actual home town and not the Cris Carter from Cincinnati type of geography.
Arthur Jones
Chandler Jones
Not from my home town but Jumbo Elliot went to my High School
Probably the two best known are Joe Andruzzi and Dominique Easley with the Patriots.
For the old timers there's Mike Siani and of course, Frank Ferrera.

Didn't ask for your opinion about my hometown. But since I realize your just an asshole, I'll overlook the insult.
Um, Little Egg Harbor's own Matt Saigon was chokeslammed by Kane a couple weeks ago on smack down if that counts for anything?
Also Ronnie blye Mike Stromberg
Don McCauley
Yup. I grew up friends with Dave and played sandlot football and a lot of hoops with him. McCauley was 2 or 3 years ahead of us but I watched him many Saturdays at GC High. There was also Rick Frisbie who was a classmate of McCauley's and might have gone pro as a DB but the options out of Harvard were too attractive for him to go for it as a UDFA, I think. That high school team with McCauley and Frisbie was something.

That's a good list...didn't know it was that many from that area.
Also:
Stevie Johnson -- San Francisco.
And need help with:
_________ -- Forest Hills, NY.
He was in the same draft (2009) as Nicks and flamed out due to injury even earlier; the 127th player taken and nowhere near Nicks' talent but a very polished WR coming out of college whom I wanted for the Giants that year...
and
Testicle Vinny (a.k.a. Vinny Testaverde)
P.S. Amos Zeroue went to nearby Mepham I think
NFL players born in New York - ( New Window )
Pete moved to Ogdensburg with his family from Hungary in 1957.
He tried out for the OFA football team, thinking it was a soccer team. His soccer style kicking was never tried before by place kickers, and revolutionized kicking. Pete graduated from OFA and played for Cornell (1961 - 1964), the Bills (1964 - 1965) and the Giants (1966 - 1974).

NFL players were your generation. Current Yankees reliever Matt Daley was a year ahead of me
