Do you guys think he is the best RB in college football? Man he looks absolutely awesome today and has for the whole season. Kind of reminds me of Gio Bernard. Dude is a straight up beast. As I'm typing this he busts a 76 yard kick return. I know Gurley is great, but I think Abdullah is as good or possibly better as an all around RB. His stats for the season are disgusting.
178 carries for 1222 yards with 6.9 YPC and 16 rushing TDs. Also has 13 receptions for 169 yards with 13 yards per catch and 2 receiving TDs.
Just bored so I wanted to get other people's opinion on him. How does he stack up to Melvin Gordon, Duke Johnson, TJ Yeldon, Derrick Henry. How high does he go in the draft? Talking to a buddy and he is making it seem like he has 225 yards and 3 TDs because they are playing Rutgers. Well the QB and other 2 RBs have 14 carries for 48 yards. A whopping 3.4 yards per carry.
Gimme the 6'1" 205 with room to grow Gordon.
I would love to see the Giants pick him in the 2nd if he is there, but I doubt it cuz of Jennings and Williams. I think he is going to be a very successful NFL player.
Yes Gordon is also very good. Don't think I could draft him though. Those Wisconsin RBs scare the shit out of me. Yes they have awesome stats, but they have unreal OLines most of the time.

Smart man.
Ideally, I'd look for some more help on OL, but I'm not sure there's going to be similar talent in this upcoming class compared to last season. I'd usually advise against taking a RB in round 1, but I think this year is an exception. This is a great class for RBs.
Basically its Gurley and everyone else this year.

Gurley? He's been great the last three games. I agree!
Basically its Gurley and everyone else this year.
Gurley and everyone else? Haha, laughable.
Gordon is every bit as good (probably better) and in many people's opinion is the better pro prospect. Gurley gets more exposure because of the SEC love fest in the media, but Gordon is an absolute stud
Not the case. I wanted nothing to do with Montee or James White for this team, or even John Clay if you go back a few years.
Melvin is a different story. The kid is special. While UW hasn't played MSU, Melvin put up 16 for 140 against LSU, and this is while facing 9 in the box, because we have quite likely the worst passing attack in all of FBS.
The idea that because former players at a particular school didn't have success in the NFL, it's indicative of a current players future fortunes is even more laughable.
And yes the school bias myth holds true because there's truth in it. That's why you don't draft Alabama defensive players because Saban has already maxed them out in college.
But maybe not. Yeah, the guy before him wasn't any good, so he won't be any good! Cause they went to the same college! Haha, classic. And right, NFL teams steer clear of Alabama defensive players because Nick Saban destroys them. Holy shit....
