It was not "confirmed." Guess that means that they didn't think it was indisputable that the ball came loose, but it was pretty clear on the replays that I saw.

if you can't see he did not retain possession when hitting the ground.....how many times have we seen guys not bobble the ball as the receiver hits the ground, but because he does not have his hand under the ball, they call it an incomplete pass....totally ridiculous....this interpretation of rules, seems to change week to week, even with instant replay.....

Not that that play would make a difference in this game....it's over.....

Some of these games are making me feel better about the giants.
