This is for all the first (not second) guessers. Ben and the Steelers have torched the Colts for 500+ in the air. Should the Giants strive for balance and ball control to keep the ball away from Luck, or should they attack with a fast pace and a majority of passes?
I say attack.

Teams look like they have no defense one week then get 5 sacks and 4 turnovers the next.
Offenses score 40 points one week and then only get a couple of field goals the next.
The Eagles looked pretty weak the game before they demolished the Giants and the Giants offense looked like a juggernaut. How many of us saw that result coming?
Good luck against Luck!
Good luck against Luck!
Now THAT is my concern.
I doubt the Colts only run the ball 10 times next week unless the Giants somehow go up 35-10 in the first half.
On offense, just because the NFL nature is as the previous poster said, week-to-week with almost no carryover, it is hard to see the Colts defense playing to that same level of bad two games in a row when you consider how good they have been all season.
vs. PHI - 20-34, 170 yards, 3 TD, 1 INT
@ JAX - 31-39, 370 yards, 4 TD, 0 INT
vs. TEN - 29-41, 393 yards, 4 TD, 1 INT
vs. BAL - 32-49, 312 yards, 1 TD, 2 INT
@ HOU - 25-44, 370 yards, 3 TD, 1 INT
vs. CIN - 27-42, 344 yards, 2 TD, 0 INT
@ PIT - 26-45, 400 yards, 3 TD, 0 INT
NO ONE is stopping Andrew Luck this year. Outside of 1 game, he's thrown for 300+ in every single game
He throws the ball more than any QB in football. They are going to put the ball in his hands and throw, throw and throw some more.
All we can do is hope we can force a few turnovers and slow him down some. Our offense better be ready to put the ball in the endzone a bunch

That would be sound if the Giants weren't among the tops in the league in allowing big pass plays.
Giants could control the ball for 35-36 minutes. But the Colts could still score 28-30 points with the way they throw the ball downfield. And against the Giants defense, they have the clear advantage there.
We should be fairly healthy going into the game but without Cruz, Thurmon and McBride I don't see us winning.
4 failed screen passes
22 quick hitting passes
4 deep attempts (2 sacks, 1 completion)
3 false starts
2 holding penalties
Seems likely.
I think the defensive gameplan should be to avoid 3rd and long. They seem to get KILLED on 3rd and long, but are tough on 3rd and short. So give up 7-8 yards on 1st down. Problem solved, right? See, this football thing ain't so hard.
Good luck against Luck!
and good luck also against Bradshaw!
You forgot to add that we will publicly state that we will continue to run the ball regardless of results to help the Colts better prepare for us.
The beauty of this plan is that it can not be derailed by injuries. Even if all three are injured, Giants can easily find equivalents on practice squares and with guys who are out of football
This is a game that should be put in Eli's hands and have the passing game set up the run if they get the lead.
