the crowd was all over him too because his team was down 30 points when he sacked the backup QB. And then he stayed down obviously injured and it was one of the loudest cheers of the day.

Word on Bears DE Lamarr Houston is the team is fearing a season-ending knee injury. MRI tomorrow to confirm, prepared for bad news.

You're getting your doors blown off, down 25 on the road, you and your teammates have given up nearly 50 points and you're now largely playing second teamers, and you celebrate a blown assignment sack.
I came go so far as to say anyone deserves to get hurt, but I sure don't feel bad for the fool.
Under the circumstances, this was 'over-the-top' celebrating.
Then again, maybe this was his first, and possibly last, sack.
Anyone as dumb as him can't be good enough to get sacks under normal game conditions.
RE: RE: Just stupid but aren't those surfaces turf?
the controlling part o the knee injury happened on an earlier play, an this was just a final straw. All he did was jump in the air. I don't think it has anything to do with celebrating.
This is what happens when you STOMP an immovable object , it's like punching a brick wall , something is going to give ...bone and tendons are weaker than concrete .
How about Sammy Watkins long run toward the end zone and gets tackled short as he slows up to showboat. I'm sorry, I know I'm officially in the "get off my lawn" generation, but I just love seeing these "LOOK AT ME" juveniles pay the price.

I saw that. He knew what and idiot he was too and it was so good to see the idiot get tackled at the 2 yard line.

You can play with a cast on your hand. But not with a torn ACL.
it's been field turf since 2006 and no one else has torn an ACL celebrating a sack of a backup QB down 30 points that I can recall.
I came go so far as to say anyone deserves to get hurt, but I sure don't feel bad for the fool.
I'm not supposed to laugh at injuries...

lol, I started a post but felt bad about posting it so I didn't ... but you did, thanks.

As I recall Gillette just upgraded to artificial surface. I think that has a lot to do with it as well.

Oh I thought they got new turf for some reason I remember they were talking about it during a preseason game.

hehe

They did change their turf, but just from one artificial turf to a newer one.
It's like they get picked off by a sniper in the stands as soon as they hit the turf and go down in a heap. I'm sorry, but it's funny.
Celebrate after the game with H&B.
Thugs always get waht they deserve!
