like aspirin, can't even eat them with cheese sauce.
I don't like baked potatoes (if those count), but I like mashed and french fries, so maybe that's just my weirdness.
I don't like beets, peas, turnips, squash, zucchini, some beans like lima beans,
the only fruits I don't like are
limes (can't stand anything with limes, if at a bar they accidentally put a lime in my vodka and club soda (if that's what I'm drinking) it has to go back,
and tomatoes. I can eat tomato-based sauces, just don't like tomatoes in a salad.
eggs, steak, and lobster all day, but I want to live to see 50 (at least), so I eat plenty of fruits and vegetables. I can't say I really dislike any of them, but if health was not a factor, I wouldn't eat them nearly as much. I'm eating my lunch of black beans, spinach, tomatoes, mushrooms, peppers, and a handful of almonds right now (with a apple for dessert). Yum? :(
They eat all kind of weird, random plants they find while wandering through the woods. I'm surprised they're not dead yet.
Those fuckers are everywhere now, and the fact that we haven't heard of a mass poisoning is surprising to me too.
Right on the service road to the BQE there's a ton of weeds growing on the ramp. There are signs - 'do not consume', signs for rat poison warnings, etc. - doesn't stop people from picking them constantly (and making the occasional inadvertent target for those exiting the BQE).
I like things cooked in onions (so it's onion-flavored), but not the onions themselves. And it's just the opposite with bananas. I like bananas, but don't like things that are banana-flavored.
But I think they should switch names, because celery looks like something that should be called lettuce and lettuce looks like something that should be called celery.
Yep. Somehow I wouldn't put my life at the mercy of my ability to accurately identify unfamiliar wild plants with a field guide, but that's just me.
They had a pat argument about eating how the Indians ate, but cmon - the Indians ate that way for hundreds of years spending their entire lives knowing which plants were edible. A couple of patchouli-soaked aging hippies have no such experience.
oh my god - so many good veggies lister here its unbelievable
fruit not so much. Rarely eat them actually except berries. All kinds I eat them everyday mostly(the price is through the roof right now) blueberries today . Blackberries in the frig. Especially not apples.
But a few vegetable I dislike depending on whether fresh or canned and how prepared. For example, canned peas are not that great but fresh peas are excellent.
Ha, and some of these guys are complaining about bananas!
I'd bet they never smelled fucking Durian.
I like just about everything except Durian. Raw cucumbers, the big fat American ones, are pretty nasty. The small and slender "Persian" or middle eastern ones are OK but pretty neutral.
Does anyone like raw celery? I mean without ranch or blue cheese dressing, or bagna cauda dip...
Being married to a Chinese woman I've had durian several times. By itself and as a pudding.
It is fucking gross. Smells like - h.s. Gym locker room.
I'm ok with most other fruits and veggies but there are several like Brussels sprouts I avoid if at all possible .

Not a fan of raw garlic or onion but I like them cooked.
When a person eats a lot of sugar it changes that person's brain chemistry. When a person gives up sugar for a few weeks the brain chemistry starts to change back. When that happen you start to like fruit and veggies that you previously hated.

Peas are awesome. Fuck you.
They are the Hokies of the vegetable world.
Yellow Squash/Zucchini if steamed. Grilled with oil/balsamic I have no problem but when steamed it tastes way too sour for me

bring large fry pan to medium-high. oil bottom with olive oil. add sliced garlic and crushed red pepper for 15 seconds. remove the garlic.
saute greens for 2-3 minutes, add plenty of salt and pepper.
finish by adding a splash or two of warm water to deglaze pan and finish the greens with a nice quick blanch.
plate, garnish with the garlic. drizzle EXtra virgin olive oil on top.
serve
I don't like Mushrooms either.
Everything else is fine by me.

That's pretty good, but it's not plain raw celery...
Cooked celery, BTW, I like. Cream of celery soup is great.
oh, and sweet potatoes
and brussel sprouts;
and fuck turnips; squash; and zucchini;
and then there's eggplant - yuck!

But yes I concur - durian is nasty
I think someone needs to try some good eggplant parmesan, but I do agree if not cooked well it isn't very forgiving.

I don't eat much sugar. Kale still sucks
and he admits he's eaten it too?
Heck - It's right up there with toe cheese
Fruits - Watermelon, Cantaloupe, Honeydew Melon, Pomegranate
I don't like sweet potatoes. And I'm not crazy about "squash"
