I personally do not believe they will completely turn things around.
Injuries.. A new offense.. And an underachieving defense make it difficult for any team.
They have the pieces in place to become a championship team. The QB.. Head coach.. Talent on paper (for the most part)
It just doesn't seem to be working together on the field. Unfortunately it may take a year for this offense to take off under Eli.. 8-8 here we come!
Thoughts?
7-2... I can see that happening if the defense plays as good as they possibly can.
Who are the remaining teams? Dallas.. Phili.. Redskins.. Colts... ??
Ayers, Bromley, and Moore need more snaps.
Kennard needs snaps.
Need to find another safety somewhere (Behre?)
You have now lost Beason(and have no linebackers), DRC is game to game, outside of Rolle you have no safety, JPP has not returned to 2011 form, Cruz is gone, Jennings return is questionable, your big price free agent lineman has not returned yet, your TE's look great one week and disappear
the next...and OBj is just getting his feet wet.....
You have an offense that can look great one week, and terrible the next....
Turn it around? Sure, if this team can build some consistency and stop shooting itself in the foot, yes it can win some games at the end of the season, that will be meaningless and keep us from getting a good draft pick....it's a cycle for this club...not too bad, not too good, so you always pick in the middle of the pack....
The NBA has a strategy....the way free agents jump around with no control, the only way to get better, is via the draft....but to get a good draft pick, you have to be bad....very bad.....those NBA teams have no problem tanking a season.....
And yes, I know, the same people are in power that decide the draft....but hell, they are bound to get lucky and draft someone who doesn't get injured, and is worth something when his rookie contract is up....
So, anything can happen in this wacky league and we have a great coach and we have Eli.
they take out the eagles, cowboys, skins, 9ers, and then they take care of the pansies at the end of the sched
we ca beat anyone when we play good...
I dont have confidence in coaching and
Injuries piling up arent being replaced
I think Randle could do more these last 9 games going deep and what not but it seems like we are using him for the short stuff as he is a bit bigger.
What we really need to turn it around is for the young guys to really step up and surprise much like 2007. Imagine a two TE set of Donnell and Robinson with Robinson going deep down the seem with his speed? A surprise like that could change the make-up of the offense so lets hope someone(s) step up and challenge.
Four of the first seven have been on the road. I think this is a good home team.
The quarterback has proven he can win the big game.
In conclusion,
I think the Saints will turn it around.

LOL...Robinson going down the seam? Now you are dreaming.........
We need another good draft to compliment the 2013 and 2014 drafts.......and with a good FA offseason, they we can get back into legit contention for a playoff spot.
The Eagles' luck is going to run out with the special teams play eventually (not to say they aren't very good on specials, but very rarely does a team win so many games because of them). The Seahawks look vulnerable. Barely got passed Carolina. The Packers got destroyed by the Saints (who I think will end up winning that division).
We still have a shot if we can survive until Jennings is back.
Our biggest issues are A) Losing tie breakers with Detroit and Arizona B) The fact that we can not afford to lose either the remaining Dallas or Eagles games C) There are some good teams who have been off to rough starts and will likely improve.
But this weekend was actually very big for us. Losses to the Eagles, Cowboys, Packers, Panthers and Bears were all relevant. Would've been nice if the Falcons didn't collapse but still, we ironically had our best weekend as a football team since October 5th and we didn't even play.
It's hard for me to declare this season over when we have Eli Manning.
Got to be able to put up around 30 points versus Colts or forget it.
Still, its happened before. Neither Super Bowl team was very impressive during the regular season, especially the most recent one.
Its not likely to happen again, but its not impossible.

Jimmy, I think Williams is going to be a good back. It just a matter of when the light goes on. Maybe it will be this week (....maybe....)
Losing Cruz was big and with Jennings not on the field, the offense has limited threats to keep moving the chains.
