But you just gotta take it. This was a good weekend for us. The division could have been out of reach if these teams had both won. Instead we've still got at least a punchers chance.
to throw one at the end?? Washington DC did the total opposite of what Perry Fewell would have called?! I so bet Fewell would have called prevent soft zone defense on that last play.. That's how you play defense!
Dallas was overrated with a major weakness on defense

That stupid cover 2 against Dallas. You have to blitz and play man. Redskins showed it today
We did blitz and play man. The blitzes never got there and the man coverage couldn't hold long enough and got exploited.
Look how fast the Redskin players were past the line and forcing Romo to take sacks or get rid of the ball. Our players take forever and when they do get through, they can't even get a hold of the QB.
We are lacking speed on the defensive side of the football. Especially at LB. Williams is the only guy with wheels.
The one player we have with elite speed in the back 7 is DRC and we're not going to blitz him.
I guess on paper, but anybody who has watched the Us knows we are not winning the division. It helps us on paper, it doesn't help us in reality.
Oh jesus STFU
The cowboys lost and it helps our position in the standings. Forget being a pessimist for a second and enjoy something that could help us if we get our shit together.
I don't get that shit.
Listen I love TC and wouldn't trade him for the Redskins coaching
staff in a million years. However that is how you gameplan on offense and defense to win a game like that against Dallas. No that chicken shit crap of a plan we threw out there last week. I just can't understand it because thats not us at all. Although that kid corner tonight was an absolute beast. That sure makes it easier on D.
But you just gotta take it. This was a good weekend for us. The division could have been out of reach if these teams had both won. Instead we've still got at least a punchers chance.
Doesn't if the Giants can't start winning.
So you guys would rather have seen Dallas win tonight?
Alrighty...
It was the preferable result for us. Period. End of conversation.

Really? Because that shitty banged up Redskins team, just beat the so called best team in football. And now they have to play a hot AZ team.
It's up for grabs

Forget it. These guys have their favorite memes and they are just going to keep repeating them no matter what.

uh, genius...even if the Gmen don't win the division, there is still something called the "Wild Card". The more the Eagles/Cowboys lose, the greater the possibility the Giants get one.
In one of the articles they said 6 times we blitzed against Dallas. I think Raanan wrote it.
They never get home and when they do, our guys miss. It's amazing to see a team actually get home when they blitz.
Yes, exactly.
If the blitzes aren't getting there, why is he going to keep sending them? All he's doing at that point is leaving DB's in man coverage and asking to give up a big play via a mismatch.
To me, this isn't about not wanting to blitz or being stubborn.. it's that we're literally creating a disadvantage for our defensive backfield by doing it.
Blitzing is great when you've got the speed to get there and impact the play. But if you don't you're just taking your own guys out of the play.
Except the Giants have played both the Eagles and Cowboys better on the road in recent years. I thought the way the schedule was set up actually worked to our advantage (potentially get the early division lead and put pressure on the other teams to beat us at home).
is he that much of a hot Prada?
Bi week?

haha. yes! i thought the same thing.

I said as much last week. They don't impress me.

Politely, I ask you to shut the f up! We have a shot to turn it around. The door is now open.

And it was simple ball control and getting to the passer. Murray got his yardage but didn't kill them.
Great win for Giant fans.
Dallas loses, we stay in the division champ picture.
Not so easy to swallow fir Washington Jint fans but you got to take a bullet for your team once in a while. Priorities are a fact of life.
That said
YEEFUCKINGHA...

You are, of course, 100% correct.
And Dallas and Eagles may be better than us.
But what this weekend showed me is the Giants should have been their last two games more of a contest than they were.
The Eagles are not 27 points better than the Giants. And the Cowboys are not 10 points better than them either. Both were in critical games.
is he that much of a hot Prada?
"NO MEANS NO!!!"

They all point to poor coaching and game planning on the Giants.
Our guys have now GOT to believe that they can come back and beat these guys next match.
Let's go.

Don't discount the weird scheduling where the Giants play their first divisional game at home on Week 12. That's ridiculous.
And Steve Young there to wipe it out of his mouth.
LMAO Greg!

We don't disguise our blitz very well. No stunts or moving players and fewell is a joke.

We'll fix things by next week.
Great win for us tonight.
They're coming out of the woodwork on this thread and weren't around before the end.
Spare yourself the agony, be happy, we're still alive and a week further into the "process".
Bi week?
NTTAWWT
Rocky: I'm pumped. "Bi-week" lol - "BYE WEEK" "transgender-week"
Whatever! It was good!
After AZ they have 5 of last 7 away. 2 home games are Ind & Phi
Moot if the Giants dont win next week
That said, I have more of a problem with him dropping pass rushers on 3rd-and-long.
