but we have better corners than wash. it's a gamble, but the blitz has to be well designed, called at the right time, and someone has to get home.
Giants are a terrible blitzing team. awful. but good blitzing can help compensate for a poor secondary. Spags did that a lot in the 07 run. protected our street free agent corners with blitzes
we also had mitchell and pierce who were decent blitzers. as was gibril. front four was great, but we sent guys and it worked. Spags had either a better designed blitz or a better feel for when to call it. they were more effective

Agreed. I'm happy with Beckham and Richburg, but Martin is excellent. We could have taken Martin and then Cody Latimer in the second, who went to Denver. Latimer doesn't have a catch, but he was really good in college.
