yer gonna put Romo back in there. We shot him up with the same stuff that the doctors use to neutralize the nerves in my face when i need a lift after Giants fans call me Skelator. He's fine. He's going back in or i'm planting a story in the Dallas Morning News about you getting cuckholded by Troy-Boy. Smarten up or you can join Wade in never-neverland. This is 'Mericas team, not Ginger's Team."
Romo is just as dumb as Jones for acting like he was good to go, when Weeden had already demonstrated more effectiveness. They will be just as dumb when it matters most, later this fall
they haven't fixed the major cause of most of their failures over the past decade. You can point to Romo choking, or coaching, or anything else - but whatever happened, Jones was always standing right by when it fell apart. From buying tickets to the NFCC to pushing an injured player to return, you can always count on JJ to fuck things up.
I think any team taking Winston in the 1st round would be foolish. He's not even a QB you look at and think he's going to be a sure-fire success. Add the red flags, and he might as well sew Russell on the back of his jersey.
He was in the locker room when Romo was getting examined and felt it necessary to inform Garrett that the quarterback was available to return to the game.
“I was here during the tail end of the examination and knew he planed to come back out and play if he were needed,” Jones explained matter of factly. “Of course he was needed. I felt good that he could come back out. When he saw the opportunity he did. I told Jason that he would be back in.”
Jones admitted being very concerned when Romo was initially injured but said he felt better after seeing the test results and realizing it was only a contusion on Romo’s back.
Romo underwent back surgery last December to repair a herniated disk. It was the second straight off-season for him to undergo a back operation.
“We knew there were no structural issues when they gave him the X-rays,” Jones said. “I very concerned the fact that he laid there as long as he laid there. After we looked at the play and saw that was a knee kind of to the side of the back, then we felt better about it.
The book is still out for me on his coaching, but I respect him as a man and genuinely feel bad he has to deal with Jerry. The fact that he "told Garrett to put in Romo" is an absolute joke.
got something serious for the pain in that locker room? I have suffered a couple of serious back injuries in football and hockey and I can't imagine lying on the field in pain like he was and then somehow being ready or loose enough to play without being numb from the neck down or high as a kite.
Romo is a tough SOB. Will be interesting to see if this injury affects him going forward.
Dodged two bullets deep in his territory, the fumble, and then the missed int, in regulation....that should have been a hint for the Cowboys.....putting him out there in overtime....STRIKE THREE....
RE: RE: He also had his little stooge John Gruden Â

And then to get eight yards on their first run in OT, then go to the pass three straight times.....yikes.
But I do think the Skins have rounded the corner and will be a force the 2nd half of the season.
There's been tape on him for like four years.
And who knows who's playing the position next week.
As opposed to protecting your franchise QB who was clearly injured and unable to move out of the pocket and avoid the pressure?
Penny-wise pound foolish if true.
Especially if he's dealing with this issue for the rest of the season, defenses bring the heat constantly and he takes more beatings.
If Jerry Jones influenced the team decision tonight he's a fucking idiot. Not smart. A fucking idiot.
Alas, someone forgot to tell the Skins to play their part and roll over and die

and throwing 2 times ...got 3 pt fg....that lost game...
why they didnt run...
The script called for Dez to get the TD
Jerry thought the movie-producer would allow four or five takes until they got it right.
Keep in mind. Murray already had his 140 yds at 7 yd/carry. There was no reason for anyone to have to give him more media attention.
Winston is long gone before the Cowboys pick, unless he's in Starke doing 15-20.
And you know he will.
He's got J-E-T-S written all over him. Perfect for that circus.

Thank you for bringing this up.....I thought I imagined hearing that little toolbag refer to Romo as John Wayne. I detest Gruden!

Especially when they had 4 downs instead of 3 cause of OT situation.
