Of the next four games, which is the definite loss?

bignygfan : 10/28/2014 11:28 am
We all know we aren't gonna win the next four straight.
Even 3-1 may be a stretch.

That means we will definitely lose one. So which is the toughest of the next four?

At Seattle because the champs are 'unbeatable' there? Niners cause of the matchup problems? Dallas since they have our number now? Luck since he is unstoppable?

The Colts game feels like the least winnable game to me because I don't think this team can win a shootout. We won't have to against the other 3 teams but against IND, we probably will.

No one has stopped Andrew Luck this year. He throws for 300-400 yards every week. Their offense is 2nd in points scored and 1st in yards.

If no one has stopped them yet, we won't either. We're going to need 35 points to win this game and I don't see us putting that on the board.
Seattle in Seattle is a loss

there are not definites.
I agree with Arc....

about the Colts. Even in the Pitt game, the Steelers got out to huge leads, and really the Colts were still in it amazingly.

However, Seattle in Seattle....ouch....can we really compete there? I can see them stuffing our run and blanketing our WRs.......

Shit, there is NO

Giants wont win in Seattle

But i will say, bottom line, they have to go 2-2 at minimum in the next 4 games. After that 6th loss, they have to run the table.
Is this what BBI conversation has come to?

Making threads about "definite losses" before they happen? How about a little bit of optimism, or if not, how about a wait and see approach? The pessimism on this site is ridiculous.
Ridiculous?

You may not like pessimism, but there are a helluva lot of reasons to be pessimistic.
Honestly, this team doesn't have the personnel to win the next two

games. We just don't with key players like Cruz, Thurmond, McBride and Jennings all either out for the season or limited. We have one safety and a career backup (Demps) playing the other spot. Brown may re-surface and play more but he isn't a game changer at this point unless he starts getting those big play interceptions again.

If we had a healthy Cruz at least we might move the ball better now that Beckham is on the outside with his speed but alas it was not to be due to his IR injury.

The loss of Thurmond AND McBride hurts too since this is a passing league and you need solid corners to compete.

Having said all that who is to say JPP doesn't crush Luck in the first quarter and the Colts play without him? Or who is to say Seattle doesn't get hit with injuries galore this weekend and we play them a few men down? Anything can happen we just need to be prepared and play our best.

3-6 is where I think we'll be though and that sucks.
which one is the definite win?

?
I dunno,

something about making a thread to discuss the next definite loss bothers me. I guess it's just the negativity. You can be pissed about what has already happened but to facilitate future negative emotions, just doesn't sit right with me.

Plus, we've seen time and time again that the NFL has been anything but predictable. Do I predict the Giants go 4-0 the next 4 games? No, but it's not beyond the realm of possibility.
Agree, Colts look like the toughest game

which game will we win ? The sad truth is we might not win any of them.
There are no definite losses

come on.
Who knows
ANGPASS : 10/28/2014 3:26 pm : link
Jennings won't play. we have no rbs who can do anything in the passing game. Our pass rush sucks. even when we get pressure, we WHIFF. Too many fumbles on on the entire team. They play like they are not ready. They can win, but they have to play perfect because they are a lot of spots where we are weak at.
I don't know
JoefromPa : 10/28/2014 4:40 pm : link
when you figure it out let me know, so I don't get my hopes up during that game. Until then I will hope they win every week they play.

At least we get a low draft pick.
Ah ha. A trick question!
Giantology : 10/28/2014 7:02 pm : link
Cause they're all a definite loss, amirite?
Probably phrased it wrong.
bignygfan : 10/29/2014 1:20 am : link
Right there are no definite losses.

But as far as the toughest game in this stretch, I thought it would be Seattle heading into this season.

Now I think it's Indy by a mile. The Colts could be the best of these four teams and like arc said, there is virtually no way to slow them down. Pittsburgh was holding on for deal life after scoring 42 points.

You have to understand that the Negatories are suffering from withdrawal due to the Bye week. They need this post to relieve the shakes and what ever else they get from not venting their negativeness.

And I'm sure they'll all agree with me that we ain't got a shot in hell to win in Seattle this year.
