this video was very interesting as a perspective most men don’t fully appreciate yet most women have to deal with and “ignore” on a regular or semi-regular basis. What I find more interesting and surprising is the dismissive tone of some responses and the outright contempt some seem to have for even suggesting that this would possibly be perceived as harassing in nature.
As to the “what are men supposed to do” and “you can’t ban pickup lines” posts, I would agree to an extent but following basic rules of common sense and decency should be enough….like maybe not thinking a shout out to a women walking on the streets is a good approach and perhaps saying hello in a normal way while in line with said woman or in some other situation where it would be more natural might be the way to go….just spitballin’ here.

The point is that there is no divine right to not be annoyed or uncomfortable. I've got a neighbor who works on his goddamned boat and ATVs all the time, revving those damned engines for what seems like hours on end when I'm in my backyard hammock, trying to relax or read. I have fantasized about those engines simply blowing up in his face. Ultimately, though, what can you do? I'm learning to ignore it. It's really not that hard.
