and 2-1 in the division, going into the bye, but that didn't happen.
I'm cautiously optimistic. I wouldn't be surprised if we won, and I'd be super happy, but I just don't feel like we have the horses to compete this year. Hope I'm wrong.
They also have good odds of having fewer wins than even Washington Â
jolt of optimism after so many teams we're competing with lost this weekend?
There's still a playoff spot for the taking and I don't think it's as remarkably unrealistic as some others. The Eagles game was a disaster but we were right with Dallas to the very end.
Eli Manning looks fantastic.
actually 2 in loss column taken in consideration of Â
if the Giants come out doing the same shit and doing it ineffectively. Try and establish the run, otherwise move to the passing game. Try your defensive game plan Fewell and if that doesn't work please try bringing some "exotic" blitzes.
However, I fear this team will do the same shit over and over again...and get the same result.
it's way too early to call this season a non-playoff year.
we still may not make the playoffs and all can fall apart. at the same time, things can click, issues can be sorted out and other competitors face some injuries and other hiccups.
Like the way you think. Forget defeatism disguised here as realism and continue to keep in mind that games are meaningful until a team is mathematically eliminated.
I agree this season is far from over. And one thing is certain in this game....any team no matter how bad can beat any good team no matter how good on any given Sunday. Oh shit...we're playing on Monday.
I think we are seriously hurting from injuries but we put up a great game against a red hot Dallas team and I think we have the best head coach in the leagues. I think we can beat Indy or any team but it's never easy. We just need to have a good game and hope the ball bounces our way a few times. My biggest fears these days are from the Refs. They can dictate the outcome of these games and I hate that.

I won't begrudge anyone for wanting to keep hope alive though (at least in October).
Not to be a negative nancy, but i would bet, not a person on this site would have thought they would have lost to the Eagles and Cowboys..
It sounds good to think about, but realistically, it's a long shot..I do see, however, how the Cards can beat the Cowboys..

one game at a time.
Good point.
Seems that is characteristic these last two years…get our hopes up then dash them into the ground stomp them down, ruthlessly.

This poster has such a fucking bizarre hard on for the Redskins.
They're not a good team.
As for us.. can't see how we beat IND unless we score over 30. No one has been able to stop that offense this year so far.
