Here is his NFL combine stats: link. His Florida St. stats, also.
He's a Titan killer...in two games against them, he has a sack, INT, and returned a blocked punt for a TD against them. Might be an option on third down for edge blitzing.
Probably because of their D line [/quote]Maybe, but you don't become 5th best in yards by being bad players in the secondary. They're overachieving, maybe.
Is Harris better than Fenner is the bigger question. Hosley stinks, too.
special teams??? Didn't think so. If Harris can help us improve there than I'm all for him joining the team. Hopefully we can see what he can do as a CB next training camp.
Not that it will help much because Luck is superb and has a football and regular IQ of 180, but Mr. Harris could have some tips on playing Mr. Luck from his days in Jax facing Colts twice a year. I would have still rather had signed some LB with experience because have only 5 healthy at the position which includes a player that shouldn't see the field except on STs - #58.
1) we trade to the Bronco's the kicker who puts the ball through the end zone on nearly every single kickoff, and 2) TC keeps year after year his special teams coordinator who has proven himself to be a liability

Detroit has a bad secondary and we are signing a CB off their practice squad?
Lions currently 5th in pass defense.

The Jaguars drafted him in 2012 and cut him last August. The Lions signed him earlier this month.
