the guy who lives 2 doors down from me is a NYC cop. A few months back he was "cleaning his gun out" and accidentally fired off a round. It entered the unit between us, went through that unit and lodged itself in the wall right next to my Son's bed and is still in there somewhere. We have a bunch of cops/correction's officers that live in my complex. Every one of them said the same thing. There was no way in hell he was cleaning his gun. That's what they all say when they do something stupid with it like do a Robert DeNiro Taxi Driver type routine in their house/apartment. Chances are this shit for brains Canseco was doing something idiotic that had nothing to do with cleaning his gun out...

that the finger would grow back.

1)Treat every weapon as if it were loaded
2)Never point a weapon at anything you do not intend to shoot
3)Keep your finger straight and off the trigger until you are ready to fire
4)Keep your weapon on safe until you intend to fire

Follow those four rules religiously and you will never do something idiotic like blowing your finger off while cleaning a firearm.
