Such a strange story
" The 53-year-old man who vanished at last Thursday’s Chargers-Broncos game — a mystery that made national headlines — has been found safe, police announced.
Paul Kitterman was found unharmed more than 100 miles south of Denver in Pueblo, Colo., Denver police said late Tuesday.
“Mr. Kitterman was found unharmed outside of Denver. No foul play suspected,” Denver police said on Twitter.
Kitterman, a divorced dad from the small town of Kremmling, Colo., was at the game with his stepson and two family friends, and went missing near a concession stand at the stadium shortly before the second half on the night of Oct. 23.
Kitterman was found outside of a Kmart store, Pueblo police said.
Even though the missing Kitterman got checked out by paramedics and seemed coherent, he told police he wanted to get away to some place warm, KDVR reported."

Wouldn't he need to be married for that?
Wouldn't he need to be married for that?
That wouldn't necessarily sever their bond - for all we know, he raised the kid until they split.
as a son of parents divorced and remarried multiple times, once divorced the former step parents have zero relationship to the children (legally).
if what you say was the case then the kid is still his "former stepson". Just seems weird to describe someone as a divorced dad and then mention his step son.

I doubt the guy was under oath in a cross examination when they asked about the relationship with the kid. I've got a young man in my household, unrelated by blood and of a totally different race who I call my son.

and not what people focus on, but yeah, once the marriage ends the relationship ends (legally).

Same, except mine is my ex wife's grandson that I won primary custody over (she gets him in summer and every other Xmas). Been raising him since he was an infant- he's my boy.
