The ridiculous just gets more ridiculous...Bobby loses another body part, Melo in a very random guest appaearance gives the knife for the removal of said body part....Abel gets more and more evil......THOUGHTS?
That was surprisingly well done, given the train wreck the series has become. For once, they shaded Jax as the bad guy when he does something appalling.
Other than that....yeah. The opening scene was just fucking brutal - did we really need more "I love you, man!" moments between Jax and Chibs? And with that giant cargo ship in the background, they weren't in Charming - where the hell were they?
Gemma's birds getting the Godfather horse treatment made me literally laugh out loud. Is the plot EVER going to advance? For crissakes, this episode ended in the exact same place as the last one! The whole gang standing around unwrapping one of Bobby's body parts....gawd. Wayne's a "good cop" according to Jarry? No wonder no one ever solves a damned crime in Charming.
The episode was one giant circle. It ended how it started. There is starting to be so much "fluffer" in these episodes.
I need to start just DVR'ing these episodes so you can fast forward. Saw an article recently, that even though the SOA episodes are listed as 1.5+ hours plus, you can watch the episode in about 57 minutes.
was it his foot? I couldn't tell what they were removing.
Nero is going to be the one who finds out gemma killed tara, just my speculation
His left hand. Earlier on in the episode the 'head of security' guy said to bobby he knows how being able to ride is a rule for being a member so it would be a shame if he were to lose his 'clutch hand'.

A Don Swayze sighting is always fun, though.
I'm with you man...we get it, the club loves each other...we don't need another scene of them veering dangerously close to making out with each other to prove it
I also laughed and thought "holy shit - is that Melo?"
As for the story...yadda yadda...Jax doesn't get it, Gemma is a conniving bitch, Juice is a mental case, yadda yadda

Yeah, I heard that, it looked like the knife was near his leg though, hard to see what they were doing.
interactions with Abel and the other actors are pretty bad. And yeah the show has gone down hill since it started, but at this point I'm invested and not going to complain about every detail. Just want to know how it's going to end basically. I actually think Jax will kill himself to save the club like his father might have done, and we see a shot of Abel at the head of the table in a flash forward with various shots showing nothing has changed and the vicious cycle will be repeated. Gemma will obviously survive with Nero on the farm somehow and become a world famous singer.
does it make things better when Katey Sagal isn't the singer

I think when its all over, Nero and Wendy with the youngest son end up on the farm

Yeah they've been hinting at a little vibe between Nero and Wendy, and how she's now playing the good mom role
Abel will be the one to reveal to Jax that it was Gemma who killed Tara, IMO. And that's crap - I almost feel bad for the little kid actor who has to try and play that part
I can almost hear the "I'm too old for this shit" Danny Glover line coming from Jimmy Smits.
As far as Bobby, it was fingers from his left hand, not the entire hand, I believe (FWIW).
As cornball as it was, I think the Gemma/Abel interaction is foreshadowing. It would be something if (when) Jax finds out Gemma killed Tara that he devises a plan to kill her himself, but Abel - after hearing Gemma's "confession" to Thomas - kills her in an "accidental" fashion in the same way she murdered Tara. I also think Jax puts together what Jury was saying about JT's death, knowing it wasn't a suicide, that there were more people involved besides Clay; namely, his mother, and he becomes even more steeled to kill her.
He has been dying since season 2, yet he is still there.
But even though the seasons are a year apart in "real time", the time frame in the show from season 6 to season 7 is only supposed to be a couple of weeks.
Would be curious to know from season 1 until now, what the time frame actually is on the show. Maybe 3 years?
I assume they would have killed him off a couple seasons ago, but then realized he's a likable character and also a useful one in all of their plot gimmicks
Wayne's swan song should have been the part he played in the Season 3 finale - which IMO was the peak of the show overall
I got the impression, from his line late in the episode to Wendy about how could Jax and Gemma let the boys stay after what had just happened, that he was behind the trashing of the house, not Marks. He wants out, and wants Gemma coming with him. Creating as much chaos as possible might be enough to get Gemma to bail. Heck, if Jax gets killed, all the better from where he's sitting.
I think Nero has really checked out and can't see how you stay
Where they are after all that's been done. He's alwyas been outsider in the moral capacity relative to the others.
Am I the only one who though the kid killed the bird and wrote no son is safe? I thought it was acting out for hearing the Gemma confession after setting us up with this lunchbox.
That kid is gonna blow the lid. I think it comes down to Jax, Gemma and Nero in the end. Mother, third father, and son.
That's how fucking ridiculous this show has gotten.
smoking cigarettes in this latest episode, hadn't seen that (that I can recall - he smoked medicinal pot I can't remember cigarettes though) since his cancer diagnosis, maybe that's a sign he's closer to the end or something else, they focused on it though, so I think it was supposed to mean something.
RE: RE: Wayne was supposed to be on his last legs from cancer anyway

Couldn't agree more about the Season 3 finale. In fact, I think that may be one of the best, most satisfying, single episodes of any show I've watched (with apologies the Deadwood). And that includes the signature cover music.

Tig would be interesting as the rat, at least, although I don't know what his angle would be.
he could have let him live under the agreement he supplies info.
more likely to be robocop though.
It was definitely freaky two episodes ago where he took the hammer and just starting going nuts...
Gemma: Do you know what an accident is?
Abel: Do you?
I think when its all over, Nero and Wendy with the youngest son end up on the farm

Same can probably be said for Unser, he already knows and once he confronts Gemma, he is a goner too.

Katie singing wasn't bad at all.
