Need some trade advice from you guys.

In my PPR league WRs are terrible. TE is a strength as I have Graham and Jordan Reed.

I've floated a couple of trade options around with this kid.

Graham for Brandon Marshall
Jordan Reed for Mike Evans or James Jones

I also discussed offering him him Graham and Gio Bernard for T.Y Hilton and Ryan Matthews, but he said he wasn't a fan. I think Gio might start to break down, so it might not be a bad idea to get rid of him now. Matthews coming back should be a viable starter.

My other RBs are Fred Jackson, DMC, and Andre Williams.

Current WRs: Alshon Jeffrey, Boldin, Cordarelle Patterson, Allen Robinson (just got him off waivers), and Jordan Matthews.

His WRs are Steve Smith, Andre Johnson, Brandon Marshall, TY Hilton, Mike Evans, and James Jones. They are all at least decent players and would all help my squad immensely.

It's risky but I'm 3-5 and need to make a move. I'm the defending champion, and was fucked by a couple injuries and an awful pick of Cordarelle over Garcon.

Also offered

Cam for Watkins to a different kid. His WRs are Eli and Tannehill (lol), and while I think Eli will be solid and has played better than Cam, the Panthers schedule lightens up a lot.

Doubt he'll do it though, Watkins is his best WR.
Graham and gio for Hilton and the

No, it was Hilton and Matthews.

I agree, it's a bad trade for me as it stands now. I kind of get the sense Gio is going to get hurt, that's why I'd even consider that.

TY is a fucking stupid though, I can understand why he doesn't want to play him.

I have Luck so the 12+ points on each Luck-TY TD pass was so enticing...
*stupid = stud

typo
Mathews has almost no value
kmed : 10/29/2014 12:16 pm : link
so yeah it's for just Hilton. You're lucky the other dude is a moron.
Gio has been banged up the past few weeks
kmed : 10/29/2014 12:19 pm : link
but trying to predict an injury is dangerous. He'll be a stud again if AJ comes back. Hes only missed a few series so far.

You are panicking when you shouldn't.

Matthews is coming back next week and will be a starting RB that catches passes. How does he have no value? He was playing well before he got hurt.

I'm real nervous that Gio is going to cool off big time and get hurt.

Point taken.

Anyway as it stands now, he would do Graham for Marshall (really dislike this trade, and don't want to depend on the Bears as I have Alshon as well)

or he'll do

Reed for Evans/James Jones.

That's bad value on Reed, but I need one of those 2 WRs.

In scenario 2, which WR would you go with?

Lastly, I have a kid who offered me Reggie Wayne and Tim Wright for Jordan Reed and Cam Newton. Again, not great value as Cam should get better down the stretch, but I need a WR, and I'm not playing Cam or Reed anyway.

Out of those three options, what do you think is best? I trust your judgement Kmed, I know you're on these threads a lot. Would like everyone else's input as well.
I wouldn't touch any of those Reed trades personally.
kmed : 10/29/2014 12:25 pm : link
Regarding Marshall, I'd be buying low on him if I could but your trade isn't buying low. What FA WRs are available?
you
MookGiants : 10/29/2014 12:27 pm : link
kind of think Gio is going to get hurt and in the same trade want to get back Ryan Mathews? Huh?
Lol
kmed : 10/29/2014 12:29 pm : link
good pt
I scooped Allen Robinson off waivers
Sonic Youth : 10/29/2014 12:33 pm : link
Which I think will be huge down the stretch.

Moncrief and Martavis got claimed after my Robinson claim off the waiver wire.

Free Agents who seem somewhat useful include:

Markus Wheaton
Kendall Wright
Riley Cooper
Nicks/Britt/Hartline (all garbage IMO)
Kenny Stills
Stevie Johnson (who I dropped for Robinson)
Eddie Royial
Davante Adams

I really want Cordarelle to get his head out of his ass... Do you think Alshon/Robinson/Boldin is viable at all going forward? Alshon is on a bye, and part of me is thinking maybe I should hold tight here and roll with that, because I'm not sure how much Mike Evans is actually benefiting my lineup.

Same with Reggie Wayne. Would I play him over Robinson? He seems equivalent to Boldin, maybe even a notch below.

Yeah yeah I know, but Matthews already got his injury for the year out of the way.

I actually drafted Woodhead with the expectation that Matthews would get hurt. Fucking bit me in the ass. Woodhead has beast potential in PPR as well, since he catches so many passes. That's another thing that fucked me this year.
Oliver has looked so good,

Mathews' role will be limited.
I can't wait to see Sammy Watkins
Osi Osi Osi OyOyOy : 10/29/2014 1:06 pm : link
with an actually talented QB in the future.

Closest thing to Jerry Rice since Jerry Rice. Amazing talent.
I finally, FINALLY, have a week where I actually have a tough decision
Andy in Halifax : 10/29/2014 1:06 pm : link
at RB. After enduring a season of shit and waiting for players to assume lead roles, I have to choose two of the following four guys to start:

Hillman
Miller
Ingram
Sankey

Leaning towards Hillman and Ingram - both have looked fantastic recently. Agree?

Now, if someone could get Floyd back on track my roster would be awesome.

quick question - do any of you guys own Vincent Jackson? if so do you just move forward and keep starting him or do you try something different? I feel the one week I bench him for someone else (in this case Doug Balwin) is the week he blows up.
Hillman and Ingram for sure, don't overthink it.
