Never seen anything like this before. It's as if he thought the play and game ends when the clock hits 0:00.
The Spanish Fork Dons had a 14-11 lead over the Maple Mountain Golden Eagles with 3.7 seconds left on the clock in a Utah Class 4A state play-in game on Tuesday night. On 4th down, all Spanish Fork had to do was run out the clock. The ball was snapped to quarterback Jason Money who ran right as he watched the clock expire. He then just sort of stopped, forgetting that the play had to end. Maple Mountain’s Jason Blanthorn stripped the ball and teammate Brandon Beebe picked it up and returned it 25-yards for the game-winning, season-saving touchdown.
The play is both incredible and heartbreaking depending on which team you identify with during your next viewing of the play. It is an incredible lesson to kids to play to the final whistle and proof that anything can happen. Also, it sucks. The game was over. All he had to do was fall down. |

This seems like something Donovan McNabb would have done.
2. No mention in the article about the coach's. How they hell do they not tell the kid to A) take a knee or B) just fall the fuck down and let the clock run out.
Still does not excuse the fact that he didn't just fall down...
exactly.
If not in blood, he's related to Don Beebe at least in spirit.
So he does make quite a few mistakes
They play 60 minutes and play through the play.
I wonder how the teachers in the school feel about their school's budget being sucked up legal fees regardless of whether they win or lose.
