MMQB's Andy Benoit on, inter alia, McAdoo and the Giants' O

" Offensive coordinator Ben McAdoo is trying to turn the Giants into a new version of the Packers. But one key difference between these offenses: the Giants receivers are static. Rueben Randle typically lines up on the left, Odell Beckham lines up on the right and, with Victor Cruz out, Preston Parker lines up in the slot. One thing that makes the Packers lethal is their receivers can line up anywhere."

And this would matter why?

Andy Benoit doesn't tell us just puts this out there like it obvious that it matters. It isn't and it's likely it doesn't.
I dont have facts to back this up

But I don't believe it is true that at all. I have seen Beckham on the left and Randle on the right. How many times has Eli rolled out to his right to hit Randle on a comeback? Beckham's first TD was when he lined up left. The penalty he drew in his first game was on the left hand side of the formation.
