Snee on WFAN's Joe and Evan

Ten Ton Hammer : 10/30/2014 11:25 am
-Down 50 pounds from playing weight

-Healthy, but can't lift weights without pain

-Volunteer coaching at the high school level now, not sure if he'll make it a career.

-Agrees with Reese that current offense should be more aggressive

-First super bowl weighs more just because of the team they played and beat.

-Green bay the coldest game he'd ever played in, was sick for week after.

-Scared that Eli was about to flip him the ball during the Tyree play

-commercial. coming back for a second segment.

Talking about the christmas eve beatdown of the jets in 2011

There were 2 Chris Snees ...
TheKrow : 10/30/2014 11:31 am : link
One was a gritty professional who was a big part of two Superbowls. The other was a guy who leveraged his marital status to drain $15,000,000 off the cap when everyone knew he was done. Loved one ... hated the other.
50 pounds lost?

Segment 2
Ten Ton Hammer : 10/30/2014 11:34 am : link
-Christmas Eve vs Jets, Beningo: "that game was the downfall of the rex ryan Jets era." Snee: "That makes me feel great"

-Still fired up about the Jets disrespect before the game.

-Took a lot of confidence from season finale with Patriots, carried over to Tampa Bay game. Said he would have been fine if TC had said they were going to rest starters, but was all in when coach decided to go for it.

-Ahmad Bradshaw the toughest guy he's ever played with.

-Starting Bradshaw this week in Fantasy.

You're an asshole. Make that ASSHOLE! He played his best and gave it his all with injuries that most guys would go in IR for. The failure to draft or acquire more capable players to replace him is Reese's fault.

-Brian Dawkins told him they changed the whole gameplan when Plaxico got hurt.

-'08 team was special. still hurt they lost.

-Hate list in order: Eagles, Cowboys, Redskins, Jets

- Cowboys offensive line is special. 4 guys under 25 years old. Marvels at their talent level.

-Never liked how the Jets conducted their scrimmages/practices. Says they took cheap shots during those joint practices. Named Shaun Ellis and Dewayne Robertson

Eh, not really. It takes work to maintain being a powerful 320 lb dude. A lot of eating and lifting.

He can't work out anymore and said he had no reason to be 300 pounds.
Glad for him he lost the weight....

It happens with lots of NFL players who no longer have to put their body through what it takes to maintain a NFL body. Check out Jordan Gross.

Fuck you. Snee earned every cent he made. You prolly one of the dipshits that spent the first 5 years of his career crying that the only reason the Giants drafted him was because of his "marital status". Meanwhile he was developing into the best guard in the league

I think he must have leveraged his marital status to get the 3 app-pro recognizations as well... cause surely a son-in-law of a coach would never derserve such accolades.

wat

That's a perfectly reasonable explanation. You think these NFL players are just naturally that big and strong and carrying all that weight all the time?

Just cause he lost a shit ton of weight after playing doesn't mean he was roided up.
Some people don't realize just how much work (and calories)
GiantFilthy : 10/30/2014 2:09 pm : link
is involved to be an in-shape 300+ pound man that can take a weekly beating. The minute they stop it should be easy to imagine the weight melting off.

Right, they either continue eating and taking in calories and balloon in weight or they stop eating and lose weight.

Don't see why it has to be a steroid thing...other than some folks love thinking the worse scenario.

The average fan watching the sport
Ten Ton Hammer : 10/30/2014 2:51 pm : link
has no idea how unnatural is it for men to be that size.

Anyone can be be 320 pounds of fat. These guys are 320 pound athletes who need to be explosive, physically powerful, and yet are expected to be somewhat light on their feet and be able to play 60 minutes.

The body doesn't naturally want to carry that weight. It takes upkeep to do it. When you don't work out like that and you cut your caloric intake, the body normalizes.
