NFT: Knee brace/support suggestions

davek3698 : 10/30/2014 2:44 pm
Had torn meniscus removed last week on my left knee, nearly six years after having it done on my right. Both results of wear and tear. Some arthritis in both as well. Need to get better knee brace support now. I had been using a Mueller Wraparound Knee Support with adjustable straps, but could use something better now. I’m pretty much relegated to the elliptical for cardio, but I would use it when coaching hoops and for skiing this winter. Anyone use something they would recommend? TIA.

You went to an orthopaedist you trusted enough to let him take out your damaged meniscus, but you don't trust him enough to recommend a knee brace?
I second Dorgans recommendation with Donjoy braces

I have one for my right knee (ACL/Meniscus). It's great. Mr Dr. recommended.
